This week's smiles....week 192

Hello all.  Here we are at our catch up with the things that have made us smile in the last week.  Firstly I must thank those who took time out of their busy lives to share their smiles.....I do love seeing what makes you all happy.

I am featuring Kate's post from last week....I just love that tiny little gecko she rescued from her cat, Arwen. So tiny and yet so perfect....I just hope he survived the ordeal.  Thanks for sharing your smiles each week Kate.

I have many smiles each week.  Here's a few I thought you might like to share.....

For those who missed me on Wednesday it was cos we had taken the day off and took Milly for her first visit to the beach.  We went to Tywyn in Wales and had many smiles at Milly's reaction to the miles of sand and 'all that moving water'!

A lovely day was had by all.  :-)

We babysat this happy bunch on Saturday....as you can see when the camera comes out Poppy dog poses too  :-)

As you can see little Theo gives us all lots to smile about and here he is finding smiles for his daddy before he left for work on Sunday.  When you have to work away from home all week these special moments must help you survive.

My last pic is one that was taken last week but I hadn't managed to get on my blog til now.  It was so lovely to have a visit from Neet and that big sister of mine managed to join us too.  I really hope Neet's health improves soon.....sending you lots of love and hugs from us all Neet.

Those are a few of my happy moments from my week.  Please leave me a little comment to let me know you've called by and if you have smiles to share then link them up below.
Hugs,

This week's smiles.........week 147

Happy Friday to you all.  Thanks to all who joined in last week by adding your own smiles.....it really is right that if you smile the world smiles with you.  Smiles are contagious so please keep up the good work folks.
I would like to share Lisca's post from last week.  I'm such an old softie and the poem at the end just melted my heart.  Thanks for sharing it Lisca.

My smiles this week have mostly revolved round our nearly finished kitchen and we have had lots of giggles here with coping with the in between kitchens situation.....you can guarantee that whatever you are doing you will need something that is in the other kitchen to the one you are busy in.....I'm sure all the extra exercise will be doing me good :-)

I am also smiling because I have had my annual full MOT at the Dr's having had my bloods taken 2 weeks ago.  My Dr was very pleased with me and says that I have my diabetes so well under control with diet alone that I only need blood tests doing yearly.  My asthma is well treated with the puffers I use so that was brilliant and while there she also gave me my Flu jab.  In just 10 minutes she made me feel really chuffed and I came home grinning.  :-)

I have a couple of pics to share with you that our daughter Amy sent me of their dog, Poppy.  This is her first Christmas with them and I have a feeling she is going to enjoy it all....she's such a good dog.

She is happy to pose for photos any time....even when wearing her festive headband :-)

And she is joining in the Christmas festivities too by enjoying her own mince pie but before anyone worries at her eating raisins hers are bought specially made for dogs and are made of rawhide!

Yes she is totally spoilt and Amy has already put up their Christmas decorations!....she has always loved Christmas and likes it to last as long as she can.  :-)

That's all from me for this week.  Please leave me a little comment to let me know you've called by and if you have smiles of your own please link them up below so we can all pop over to check them out.  Thanks for calling in.
Hugs,

This week's smiles...week 108

Hello all.  We were a little thin on the ground when it came to those joining in last week....I guess you were all off enjoying happy times  :-) ......take a camera with you next time and share it with us please.

When there was only 4 of you sharing your smiles I flatly refuse to choose just one of you.  I thank all four of you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time out of you busy lives to blog and share your smiles with us.

This week, as always, has been full of smiles for me.  When you are a grandparent with 5 gorgeous little munchkins living in close proximity you are never short of something to smile about.....

As you can see Poppy the puppy has grown lots now.  She's just gorgeous and is really loved by the family.  Steve is even giving us the thumbs up in case you were in any doubt.            :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

The twins went to see a Frozen show and dressed for the event :-)  Aren't they just so cute?

My final smile for this week is yet more little treasures that I've found in our new garden.  We really do have bulbs shooting up all over it and I can't wait to see the colours of all the flowers.....I'm sure I will share them too  :-)

Thanks for dropping by this week.  Please snap a pic or two of what's making you smile this week and share yours with us by linking below.  Thanks.

This week's smiles....week 107

Hello all.  Here we are at another Friday when I share my smiles for the week and reset Mr Linky so you can share yours too. We had lots of great smiles last week and it's so lovely to see friends coming back to share their smiles even if it's been a while since they joined in.....there really is no obligation but it's so lovely to see you.

This week I'm featuring Kay's blog.  She share some really funny ads with us and I have to admit they really made me chuckle.  Thanks for sharing Kay.

I had a really fab couple of hours on Wednesday when I joined  our two daughters, our daughter-in-law and our five grandees over at Amy's house for fun and games and lunch together.  I have put together a collage of photos to share with you of our pizza making fun for lunch....they were really yummy too.

Feel free to click on the pic if you want a closer look.

In the top right pic you will see that Poppy has become my little friend....she loves to sit on my feet every chance she gets :-)

In the pic below that one you will see that Steve made us smile by nibbling the edge off his pizza base before he put the topping on....his mummy really needs to feed him more :-)

I do so love watching all the interactions between all the children.  They all play really well together and enjoy each others company which really makes me smile as you can imagine.

I'm adding this pic especially for Kate.  She always puts a pic or two of her gorgeous skies over in Spain for me and we both enjoy finding the faces in the clouds......I hope you can see the face in my clouds today Kate.  He looks a little menacing and is looking over my neighbour's roof :-)

Thanks for dropping by today.  Please join in the fun and link up your happy posts below and I promise I will call by to see what's made you smile this week as soon as I can.

This week's smiles....week 104

Hello all.  How lovely was it to see three newbies joining in last week so I would like to welcome...
Please follow their links and make them feel welcome and lets hope they all join in again soon.

This week hasn't been one of the best as you will see from my post below but I always have lots to smile about too and that's what my Friday post is all about so today I am sharing....

Yes, Poppy the puppy has been making us smile again this week.  She likes to climb through the garden gate into the field to explore but as yet hasn't worked out how to get back through and needs rescuing as you can see.....the thing that makes me smile most is that Amy has stopped to take a picture before freeing Poppy  :-) I hasten to add that no animals were hurt during the filming :-)

So there you go.  That's my smile for this week.  What's yours?  Please find something that has made you smile this week and link it up below.  I will be over to yours to check it out asap.
Hugs,

This week's smiles.....week 103

Many thanks to those who shared their smiles last week.  It really does make the world a happier place because smiling really is contagious and don't we all feel better when we're smiling?

I'm featuring a blog this week because it really made me smile when I saw Elizabeth joining in.  She had been rushed into hospital with pneumonia and gave us all a worry so it was so lovely to know she had been discharged home for lots of rest to recover fully.....So glad you're on the mend my friend.

Our new 'family' members have settled into their new homes really well and my photo for this week is of Poppy the puppy...

It seems we all love Frozen  :-)

It actually looks as though Anna is talking to Poppy too.  :-)

That's my smile for this week.  What's yours?  Please share your smiles by linking them below and let's all make the world just that little bit happier.

Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 102

What a lovely bunch of you you are.  I'm so thrilled that so many of you join in each week sharing your happy posts.  There really is far too much sadness in the world so it is good that happy moments are shared....the world smiles with you so keep up the good work.

My featured blog this week is one of a family tradition that Laura shared with us last week.  It really made me smile that there is a new Onxby being given to her little nephew....I'm not telling you more because it is well worth clicking on the link and sharing her smiles.  :-)  Thanks for sharing it with us Laura.

My smiles this week have been many but I am sharing just two pics that I just know will make you smile.  Please welcome our two new 'family members'......

This is Tilly our son's new baby  :-)

Isn't she just sooooooo cute?  She only arrived on Saturday and is already settling in well to her new home.

And this little darling is Poppy the puppy.  She belongs to our daughter Amy and her family and although only 8 weeks old she has settled in to her new home like she has been there before.  On her very first night she slept all night, was dry and asked to go out first thing in the morning.

I just know there will be lots of ooooos and awwwwws now.

Why not share something that has made you smile this week by linking up below and let's make the world a happier place to be.

Hugs,
Annie x
