WOYWW...

Hello all.  I've been kept busy here at Sewing by Annie's this week....

I made these two lovely bears in memory of a special Mum.

I made these two in memory of a special Dad.

Then, I made this pretty bear in memory of a Nan, using her pretty nightie and a brother using his favourite shirt...I love hearing about the special people I am asked to make Memory bears for.

Never a dull moment here....I was then asked to make the straps to fit under this 'dressing up as a spider' outfit for this service dog who is trained to go into care homes.  This is her outfit for Halloween...I'm not sure what I think about a huge spider visiting me in my care home as I really don't like spiders. [It was bad enough working on this one lol ].

I've also been working on the little outfits for the Christmas mice...this is the first I've finished so far.

My next project was to plan some little Easter chicks to make for The Harry Johnson Trust....Here is the first all pinned together to see what I thought of my design.  I'm going to call them Cluckles  :-)

I have now cut out a dozen Cluckles and they are all ready to be put together in front of the telly....watch this space, as they say.

That's all from me for this week.  If you leave me a little message I will go my best to pop over to yours to see what you've been up to this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

Hee! Hee! it's not just me that's crazy with the dogs. I had planned to make some bat wings for my two but not got round to it yet. Looks like you've had a busy week, brilliant. Wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x8x

Love the Cluckles, awesome name too! They’ll go like crazy on the HJ stall. The Spider Dog made me hoot, you can turn your hand to anything!

Not a fan of spiders either and not sure I'd like one that size coming up to me, although the dog has such an endearing face. Those Cluckles are bound to be a good seller, they are so cute. But I think your mouse stole my heart.

I love Chuckles and the lady mouse! Not so keen on spider dog! Even the dog looks unsure 🤣. Can’t wait to see more dressed mice and a line of Chuckles.

Hi Annie, Always love seeing your bears, love the belly buttons and the pink one is adorable with the bow and flower too. I think I'll skip over the spider/dog both would freak me out, best not go to that care home - LOL. Your little mouse is so cute and chuckles is excellent, what a super lot of projects today. I've had the sewing machine out again this week too and made a book all ready for my needle felting. Hugs BJ#1

Oops sorry misread the Cluckles as Chuckles, but there again I wasn't the only one LOL. Either way they are super and a great Easter Chick project.

Loving the latest projects Annie - especially Cluckles. I think the cute dog will be enough to balance out the fear of spiders - great costume making. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

Your Cluckles are brilliant, Annie, and I love your mouse and memory bears. I’m also unsure about a spider visiting a care home. When my Mum moved to the nursing home nearby one of the assistants dropped a toy cat in her lap and that was enough to scare her! (She used to have a cat so it was just the tacky fake fur). You made a great costume though.
Have a good week

The Cluckles are a lot of fun! I think they will be very popular, especially if you can find a way to put a couple of small chocolate eggs under each one! I love the Christmas mouse, and the bears are wonderful as always and will bring joy to the recipients. It must feel good to know your bears will always bring joy! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #14
