This week's smiles....week 381

Oh wow that week has flown by.  We managed to get away in out motor home for a few days last weekend so there was much to smile about.  We went to a lovely campsite at Slimbridge just south of Gloucester....apart from the first night when it poured with rain all night the rest of the time the sun shone and we enjoyed many walks with little Milly.  Heres a few snaps to share with you...

We were close to the canal and were able to enjoy a glass or two while watching the life on the canal.

Amy, Dave and family had a couple of days down in Cornwall and I really love the photos they sent to us.

Lexi and Sam had a day out with their mum and dad at the West Midland Safari Park and the twins made a new friend. :-)

Steve has been missing his football training sessions during lockdown but they have now started up again....I think the smile on his face says it all don't you?

I always love to see the girls enjoying a baking session together...they are making cheese cakes for their daddy's birthday today.

That's all my shares for today.  If you can please leave me a little message so I know you've called by and then link up to your own smiles for the week below.
Hugs,
Annie x

What surprised and amazed me was how NORMAL everything and everyone looks. No one was wearing a mask and it wasn't clear if people were social distancing, which is a must here in the states. I can understand it among families, but not with people standing on the banks for the canal. I fear it will be a long time before we here in the states can enjoy that type of freedom those children are enjoying. Happy birthday to Dave. I hope the cheesecake turns out great.

Some lovely family photos again this week Annie. I have to agree with Elizabeth that UK doesn't seem to be taking the masks etc as seriously as we are out here. Ours are compulsory is we are outside, even walking alone miles from anywhere. But it is automatic to pick it up as we leave the house now. i heard at lunch time today, that yours' are now compulsory around the shops etc. We have to all do something if we are ever to free ourselves of this awful virus.
I bet the children's cheese cakes turn out fine, and Dad will enjoy eating some. Take care, Kate xx

I'm glad you had a lovely time away with the campervan. The spot on the canal was great and the photos are lovely. I love the dog on the surf board.
The grandchildren have had a fab time too by the looks of it.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Hi Annie, I tried to link to Regine and got a warning that her blog was unsafe and Firefox wouldn't let me proceed. It read there was nothing I could do, but something about how the website was set up. I've visited R's Rue before, but for some reason can no longer do so. Just wanted to let everyone know I tried.
