Happy Friday to you all. It's been a week of change weatherwise here this week. We had really hot days at the start but then it changed to much colder and some of my photos reflect this...
This was on one of the hot days when Amy and the children could make the most of their pool in their garden....they were enjoying a bit of snorkling and having fun....just what childhood should be filled with.
Lexi has been enjoying her singing and dancing...this time dressed as a fish....I think her mummy enjoys dressing her up and doing her face painting as much as Lexi enjoys the performance. Her teachers record each child singing/dancing in their own homes then put them all together...technology is so clever and her teachers put in so much effort to make it all work.
This photo was sent me with a message...'The happy face of a little boy who has slept all night without his nappy.'
He looks so pleased with himself and I love that he wanted to share his acheivement with me.
Two doggy pics next....This one is Shell's, now nearly fully grown, Jet who was enjoying a cold damp towel on a really hot sunny day....black isn't a good colour on the very hot sunny days.
Of course our little Milly has now been clipped and when the temperature dropped this week she was more than happy to snuggle under her blanket...hope you recognise the blanket Lynn, she loves it :-)
And finally, for those that enjoy our garden blooms, here some of the latest making us smile this week. We have something popping up in every corner of our garden and we get so much pleasure from each and every one so it would be selfish to not share some of them with you.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit today and will now leave me a little comment before sharing what's been making you smile this week.
Hugs,
Annie x

great photos as always, and I hope everyone is enjoying the slightly cooler days (I know I am!)
You are welcome to send some of that cool air to me. I'm tired of the temps hovering between 38 and 42 C (98-108 F). Milly looks like she's enjoying the cooler weather and I bet your flowers are, too. My herbs are suffering from this heat and humidity, but my curly hair loves it.
Amy's three look happy in the pool and Lexi is a real beauty as a fish. Theo looks pleased with his latest accomplishment, too. I can tell you are one proud grandmother. Have a super Friday and a wonderful weekend, Annie.
Super photos of your grandchildren ( and a daughter), the dogs and of course your beautiful flowers. We have enough teeming rain this morning to fill the swimming pool but we can’t complain as we have had mainly good weather during lockdown.
Stunning blooms Annie! Those kids looks so happy - you are blessed! xx Jo
So many happy faces and beautiful blooms to see ~ Enjoy your weekend!
Great to see the children (and doggies) enjoy the summer.
Lexi looks beautiful dressed as a fish. Her mummy certainly is creative painting and sewing. Isn't technology wonderful, that the children can all perform together.
Good boy Theo! Well done. He can be proud of that achievement! (He is growing up so fast)
Your flowers are looking gorgeous. I love your fuchsia.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Hi Annie, great photos of the family and of course loving the doggie pics too. The weather has been all over the place this week though I must say I prefer it when it's cooler as you can get more done and the park is quieter too. We have cooler coats for Maisie and Stan which they really love when the weather is hot. You noticed they were facing opposite direction, I don't think they ever go the same way or maybe they've been in that direction and now need to go the other way! and then the other way! and the other way! there's just so much to see. I have to say I love your flowers too, I bet the garden looks lovely. Mum says thanks for the belated birthday wish, been chatting to her this morning which is why I'm late sending the comment. Wishing you a very happy weekend from a very cloudy and damp Lincoln, Angela xXx
The children are so lucky to have that nice big pool in their garden. They are growing up in idyllic surroundings.
Yong Lexi is growing up fast. Her face has really changed this year. I am glad she gets so much pleasure from her chosen hobby. It makes such a difference to have an enthusiastic teacher.
Well done to Theo. he has every right to feel proud. It is another milestone in his little life.
I smiled at the doggy photos. Kim's coat is too thick to benefit from a damp towel to cool him down, and in the winter he would rather sit out on the porch than in front of the fire!
Beautiful flower photos again. Your garden is doing you proud this year. Kate x
