This week's smiles....week 367

Another week filled with smiles here....here's a quick round up of family smiles before I share the last collage with you...

It's been Lulu's 10th birthday...a little different this year of course but still filled with lots to smile about....she's had a new desk and chair for her bedroom from her mummy and daddy and we treated her to a couple of  'how to draw' books as part of her present from us because she loves to draw.

More crafty activities from the twins....they painted each others faces [and mum's] and made themselves shields....to keep the virus away :-)

Theo's saying cheers with his glass of homemade fruit smoothie.  He sent us a miss you kiss in the second photo and it looks like all the family enjoyed a bike ride together.

Our garden continues to give us lots to smile about....it's the little things that matter eh?...the tiny violet in amongst the forget me nots and the tiny cowslip in the middle of the London Pride.  The crab apple blossom is looking gorgeous and was covered with busy bees and insects.

We have had lots of butterflies too and in just 10 minutes I'd seen a peacock butterfly, an orange tip butterfly and a small blue butterfly to name but a few.

Our biggest smiles of today are because it's our 38th Wedding Anniversary.  We all look so much younger back then didn't we...and Doddy even had hair :-)  In the top right photo you can see my much older sister [on the far right]  and on my right hand side is our Dad who would have been 100 today.  He was a very special dad and left us far too soon but I'm sure he's watching us and will know we will be raising a glass to him later.  A very Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband....it's in difficult times like this that you really appreciate just what you've got that's for sure.

Hugs,
Annie x

Congratulations on 38 years. Your gown is incredible. With a wedding like that, you HAD to stay together (grin). Seriously, it was beautiful.

Great photos of the little ones. Happy belated 10th to Lulu, too.

Hi Annie, Congratulations and thanks for showing your lovely wedding photos, sometimes when I look at our wedding photos it seems like someone else as we've changed so much, ha,ha
Lovely family photos too, I think that keeps us going hearing from the family and seeing what they are doing.
Have a great weekend and keep safe

Congratulations you two on your wedding anniversary! What a beautiful dress (and trail!) It's lovely to see those photos, and for you to remember those who are no longer with us.
The children are having fun it seems. The face painting photos are great (tongue stuck out in concentration) and the shields are a good idea.
I saw on Wednesday's page that the rabbits have gone to their new forever homes. Don't they look lovely and I just noticed how much Theo has grown. Did the children know you were making them?
Well, have a lovely weekend. I hope the weather holds. (We will catch up I'm sure, but for the moment it is still raining)
Hugs,
Lisca

Happy Anniversary to you both. The dresses are all lovely and like me, you are so lucky to be married to your soulmate. All the other photos raised a smile too. Enjoy your family quiz. Catriona

Great pictures! the shield to keep the virus away is such a terrific idea, but it kind of made me sad at the same time...such a strange world for our children right now. Your garden is beautiful! I'm sure all the buzzing and flying creatures are thrilled to visit you ~ Happy Anniversary ~

Happy Anniversary to you both, lovely to see everyone having a great time and keeping busy. I had to smile today as we went onto the website of the school where I used to teach and they are aware that some children have not logged in to access their school work, bet the kids didn't realise that they were being watched, love it! I am still trying to clear the loft and finish the cabin but been having a bit of a rest this week after the mad rush to my parents. Take care and have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx

Congratulations on your anniversary. We usually celebrate the same week as you, but ours falls just after the weekend this year.
I love the look of concentration on the faces of the twins as they paint each other's faces.
I am sure Lulu enjoyed her birthday. There must be a lot of children having 'different' birthdays this year. maybe they'll all have a party at the end of this.
Your garden as ever, is beuatiful. I just love forget-me-nots and cowslips.
Enjoy your special day. Kate x
