This week's smiles...week 340

Another week and more smiles to share....

On Saturday we all went to see Lexi on stage at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury at a performance of Madagascar.  Sadly we aren't allowed to take photos there but it was a wonderful performance and we all came out singing....'we like to move it move it'  :-)

Lexi played the part of a visitor at the zoo and a piece of steak....guess you need to have watched the film to know!

Amy, Dave and the children went to London for the weekend and organised a black taxi tour around all the sites...they say is was brilliant and would highly recommend it because it allowed them to see all they wanted to and the taxi driver was able to stop for them to take photos.

The girls love the Harry Potter books so whilst there they went to the Harry Potter experience....a great time was had by all as you can see.

The boys are Arsenal fans so while the girls did Harry Potter they went on a tour around the Emirates football ground....what a treat.

Of course Steve was then treated to a new Arsenal kit as an early birthday present....he looks rather pleased with it too.

On Monday Theo and his mummy went on a nature walk near their home to gather  Autumn leaves and other treasures...and also jumping in muddy puddles and climbing trees....just what children should do eh?

Our men went to watch Shrewsbury town play after the theatre on Saturday and when they came home Mark had treated Theo to one of the away football strips....it's actually a lovely purple in colour but looks rather blue in this pic.  They are off to watch a game together in the near future so I have a feeling Theo will be wearing his new kit then :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles and will leave me a little message before sharing yours and linking them up below.
Hugs,
Annie x

Steve looks like a bumble bee in that yellow and black uniform. I had to laugh, although I could see how proud he was to get this birthday gift.

I've never seen Harry Potter films, but enjoyed seeing the girls and what fun they had while they were there.

Theo looks great in HIS new outfit, too. What a great time the children had this week. They all had lots of smiles on their faces.

What a happy page this was! All the children have had a super wonderful time by the looks of it. That London trip was rather special. I suppose one taxi is cheaper that 5 tickets for a tour. And they have seen all the sights from the taxi.
I no nothing about Harry Potter, not Madagaskar so those references don't mean much to me, but the kids had a ball and that is what is important. (And well done Lexi)
The boys look so proud in their football kits.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca

Your posts always make me smile Annie. They take me back to the days when my boys were small, with children performing in some way, trips to London, visits to the Arsenal ground and new football kits for happy boys. And it goes on with the next generation with a family of Harry Potter fans who also enjoyed the HP Experience, and another family mad about football, and especially Arsenal. And all those nature walks we did on a Sunday afternoon together, and then again with my little ones at nursery. A real dose of nostalgia that does us good now and then.
It is lovely to see your little ones so involved in so many things. They will have such happy memories of their childhood.
Happy Friday and I hope you will have another week full of smiles. Kate xx

Hi Annie, meant to log in before this but got back from the gym, showered and then got involved with cabin building stuff so I'm sure you'll excuse me. Looks like you've had a full week again. The kids are going to look back at these photographs when they're older and love them. When we were younger it was a massive task to take the photos and get them developed and even then you were never sure what you might get back. Sending hugs, Angela xXx

Hi Annie, yippee, computer problems all over (I hope) and I can join in the Friday fun again. Love all the photos of your gorgeous grandchildren. How wonderful for the girls to do the Harry Potter experience and the boys the visit to the Emirates football ground. The taxi tour of London sounds the best way to see as much as possible. Like little Theo, my wee Callum has been walking in the woods and puddle jumping too - there's no better fun for a toddler. Have a wonderful weekend my friend, Hugs, Ellie xx
