This week's smiles....week 276

I know you all missed my Friday post but it was really lovely to see several of you still sharing your smiles and even linking up on the previous week's Mr Linky so thank you all so much.

I was away up in Scotland making memories and sharing many smiles with these lovely people...

I know many of you will have seen the photo over on Elizabeth's Wednesday post but it was the only one we both have of all 4 of us together and I love it.
I'm sure you can imagine the smiles we had all week.  We went to see a castle, a seaside and Ellie even directed me to a fabric shop while we were in Glasgow....we had booked tickets to see Sarah Milligan the one night so had to had to find something to look at during the day there.  :-) :-)

When we left home our strawberries were all green so to find these beauties waiting for our return really put smiles on our faces....and these are just a few of them!!!

On last Saturday we rose early to go to watch three of our grandchildren running in the Shropshire Primary School's half marathon.  They had run the race in mile stages after school several nights and they then joined over 800 other children to run the last mile in on of the town parks....proud Nanny moments.....and little Steve even came 5th in his group which had lots of much bigger children in.

Of course I just have to finish off with the latest colours in our garden.....if they don't make you smile then I don't know what would.  Aren't they gorgeous?
I hope your week is filled with many smiles and you will share your smiles with us by linking up below.
Hugs,
Annie x

Yes, I saw Elizabeth's WOYWW post, but I missed the fact that you were gone, although I never linked last Friday. DUH.

Congrats seem to be in order for a happy grandmother. So good to read the kids are participating in some type of sports to keep them active. Hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend, too.

Commenting here because I’m so late to WOYWW. Honestly, Wednesdays are so difficult!!! So happy to see your pics of and with Elizabeth and Alan, am jealous of the fun you use have had. Strangely, you don’t name their rather large companion in the photo on your WOYWW post! YOur garden is a joy to look upon, its a lot of work too, so am super impressed at how you seem to fit it all in Annie! Xxx

Hi Annie, just got back from walking dogs but I'm here now. Lovely to see you four having such a good time and the kiddies too. Flowers are looking gorgeous. The sheep you saw with the long wool are native to Lincolnshire so we're proud that they are still around and doing so well. There were ladies spinning the wool but I didn't notice any felting so maybe you should volunteer next year to come and do it. There is certainly plenty of wool to go at Lol! Have a great weekend, Angela xXx

I attempted to link with Mr. Linky, but for some reason am getting an error message, and unable to figure out what I'm doing wrong. oh well, no worries. Enjoyed my visit!

Annie, Dianne asked me what I thought might be wrong with the linky. I have never gotten an error like that. She said she even checked the accept box. It would be nice if you were to visit her, since she at least attempted to join us at Friday Smiles today.

So glad you had a good time away last week. How lovely to come home to a bowl of your own strawberries.
Well done to the little runners. Good for them, doing something physical and for a good cause.
The garden is beautiful as ever. Ours' is struggling in the heat, but the bougainvillea and oleanders still look good.
I am glad Mike got to see you at last. He sent me the selfie. It may have to go in next week's post! Have a good week. I know, one week's holiday means double time the next week, so it is a good thing you enjoy what you do so much. Kate x
