This week's smiles....week 256

Here we are at the end of yet another busy week for me.  Lots more sewing, many more Memory bears made and spare time has been spent making little dolly clothes......

.......and this is why I do it....

Here's Phoebe and Lulu all ready for bed in their pyjamas and dressing gowns holding their dollies all dressed for bed too.

And here they are all ready for school with their dollies all ready in their school uniform too.  I just love little girls to stay little girls for as long as they can....they grow up quick enough so it's so lovely to see them playing with their dollies.

I must say though that their mummy has now set them up with their own email addresses so I now get emails of thanks from them both and they really make me smile too :-)

Also here's Lexi with her dolly wearing the little pink / black dress with the matching black leggings.  It makes all the effort worth while just to see their happy faces with their dollies and their new fashions.
Can you see what has also been making me smile this week too?....you might have to click on the photo to enlarge it but there are little snowdrops in flower in the corner of our garden......wahooooooo Spring is on it's way.

I love Spring so the first signs it's on it's way always makes me smile.  We also have daffodils shooting up everywhere too so I have lots to smile about.

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles for this week.  Please leave me a little comment so I know you've called by and if you can then link up to your own smiles below.....I really do love seeing what makes you all smile each week so many thanks to those who join in the fun.
Hugs,
Annie x

Good morning Annie,
I love those doll clothes. It's so nice to see little girls play with dolls. There has been a lot of hooha about gender roles for children and most little girls like to play with dolls. End of. (I played with Dinky Toys and my parents let me).
Snowdrops! Hurray! Spring is on its way! Big smile I can imagine.
Have a lovely weekend and of course a good week too.
Hugs,
Lisca

Hi Annie, sorry I'm late checking in. I've been trying to catch up with stuff and only just got chance to sit down and blog. The girls look so happy and the dollies look very smart. I agree with Lisca, we should just let children play how they like and stop making so much fuss about it no wonder kids get confused about stuff. I must say I loved teddies more than dolls but still liked to dress them up occasionally. Have a great weekend. Big hugs, Angela xXx

Hello Annie. I am late as well. Been a busy day. The girls are gorgeous and I agree I like them to stay little girls for as long as possible! Ourgrandchildren are all growing up so quickly.
The dollies look lovely in their outfits. I noticed one of my snowdrops this morning! Lovely to see. Hope to pop by again on Wednesday.

Hi Annie, I hadn't expected you to link me today, and hadn't intended to play along with Friday Smiles, but I greatly appreciate it.

Those doll clothes are so smart and the girls seem genuinely in LOVE with their new doll clothes. I can see why you (and all of us) would be smiling today. Thanks again for linking me, and I'll definitely be around on time next week.

Hi Annie. It is lovely to see your girlies playing with their dolls, and they are 'proper' dolls too, not barbie type ones. Time enough for those when they are older, though I daresay they do have some now as well. Well done on making the clothes. They are such a fiddle.
How nice to see snowdrops peeping out. they are such delicate looking flowers but really they must be so strong, and they are certainly heralders of spring.
have a happy week. Kate x
