Phew....that's another week passed and we creep ever closer to Christmas. Many thanks to the six who joined in last week by sharing your smiles...you don't know just how much I needed them! I'm not featuring any one of you but just thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time out of your busy lives to share your smiles....you really are a special bunch.
Life has given us a few challenges this week but as ever, with the support of our wonderful family, we will get through it all and even through difficult times I can find something to smile about. Most of you will have read all about Kevin the carrot that I shared on Wednesday....for those that don't know he is here is a link to the Aldi's Christmas advert featuring Kevin. He is proving very popular and is a firm favourite of the twinnies. Here is the pic I shared of the two carrots I made....
And here is why this Nanny takes the time to make special things for my family....
Such a happy little face cuddling up to her Kevin the carrot wouldn't you say? And......
.....you can see little Sam is still clutching his Kevin the carrot in his sleep.
The thrill I get from making for my family is like nothing else and never fails to make me smile. I really hope you're smiling too now and will leave me a little comment below before linking up and sharing your own smiles.
Thanks for calling by.
Hugs,
Annie x

Hello from snowed up Whitworth this morning. Won't be venturing far, maybe down the lane for a cuppa with one of the neighbours. They might have more milk than me and throw in an odd biscuit or two.
Bet they won't have such fancy carrots in their store cupboards though.
Lots of love Lynn xx
Ps has Milly seen snow yet ?
Happy Friday Annie, well I've just watch Kevin the carrot... wow what a super advert, such fun no wonder the kids love him and you're just the most special Nan to make carrots for all the kids. Yes it does make you feel good doesn't it. And yes Christmas is coming at a great pace, breath in breath out, now to get my cards sent. Have a fabulous week hugs Robyn
Lovely smiles today, I'm not surprised they love their carrots so much they are so cute and that goes for the carrots too Lol!. Happy Friday and wishing you a lovely weekend too. Angela xxx
Hi Annie, I love that advert - I love most of the specially made for Christmas ads even though I'm conscious of just how much they must cost to make - but that's another conversation entirely. The photos of your lovely twins with their Kevins are super - the look on Lexie's face says it all. You're truly a wonderful grandmother. I hope you have a good weekend. Hugs, Ellie xx
Kevin Carrot is adorable and loved by all - little Ben chuckled when he saw what you had made.xxx
Isn't it funny, the things that catch a child's imagination! The twinnies are obviously loving their Kevin the carrots. They are lucky to have a talented Nan who can make things for them.
I am sorry you have had a tough week. I hope next week is better for you. Kate xx
