WOYWW.....

Hello all on this beautiful Spring day. Yesssssss I'm actually feeling better thanks to all the lovely comments, kind thoughts and prayers you've all sent me (think the antibiotics helped too). You are such a lovely bunch. Hope you like the new Spring header for my blog....it's a photo of the gorgeous flowering cherry that's in our garden right now and I just had to share it with you all.

A quick update on the house move....we have put it back on the market this week. Our buyers are a long way off from getting their mortgage at the mo and even when they submit their end of year accounts at the end of April there is no guarantee of them getting what they need so we really had no choice. We really don't want to lose yet another bungalow that we have set our hearts on.....please keep everything crossed for us.

...latest news is that we have already got a viewing on Sunday with a couple who really want to buy the house.....fingers crossed.

So? What is on my work desk today?

Of course I have a huge pile of knitted squares now.....up to 129 at last count!! 120 of them have been joined together in 2 x 2 squares now and I've crocheted around them in white....I love the effect.  :-)

I was running out of nice cheery colours in yarn so these three new balls just jumped in my basket at Charlies at the weekend  :-)....I may have a while to knit yet after all!

The only other thing I have to share with you today are the gorgeous flowers that are coming out all round the garden here....stunning or what?  Really wish you could smell that magnolia.  Enjoy.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit today and will leave me a little hello comment to say you've been.  I must say a huge sorry to a few of you last week who I just couldn't get round to....I really was feeling pretty rough all week so hope you forgive me.  I hope to call in on as many as possible later today to make up for it.

Hugs,
Annie x

Oh Annie.....it's been one thing after another. I have everything crossed for your viewing. Something has got to go right soon, you have suffered enough with this move.
It's amazing how upbeat you keep.....it must be those squares you are knitting. The power of the needle!!

Congrats on being #1 this week. And yes, I love that new blog banner/header. I'm hoping that Sunday helps resolve all the problems you've had over this move, and you can soon finish packing to go.

Your stress busting has really turned into a real project! Glad you got some new yarn.

Your yard is screaming SPRING. It's still brown and gray here. I apologize, but I probably won't join in on Friday, but I'll still be by to see how you are doing. Glad you are feeling better, at least. Happy WOYWW from # 15.

So glad you are feeling much better but so sorry about the house - yet again! How can any one person (or two in the case of your DH) have such bad luck? There must be something wonderful for you on the horizon.
Glad you are quite "up" about it, I am sure I would be in tears, and that your crafting is helping you get along. Hope those munchkins can visit again now you are so much better.
Take care

Fingers crossed for the viewing and hopefully sale, I hope you get the home you're after.
Seeing as you're an expert on all things knitty, I just learned to crochet and i'm kinda clueless, What is the wool/yarn called that they use for the nice darker creamy coloured doilies {like the one on my desk bottom right of the pile} it's slightly heavier and not at all fluffy like normal wool?? any idea!
Happy Wednesday

Oh Annie - how disappointing - again. I do trust your viewing on Sunday goes well, and that you find a new purchaser who is able to complete - like, yesterday!!!, and not keep you hanging on. Do take care of yourselves.
Number 1 - many congratulations.
That pile of squares is looking good - as is the garden. Glorious colour - don't you just LOVE Springtime as everything is bursting into life?!

Oh I do hope you have a positive outcome soon on the home front Annie, its so stressful so no wonder you've been feeling unwell.
On a lighter note your blossom header is gorgeous. I'm contemplating putting a blossom tree into my garden and I've seen some stunning magnolia this week that I might have to have one of those too ;D

Drats, I just typed a comment and it went poof....

I would think your garden would sell your home for you! I love all the colors; the cherry blossom tree is amazing! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Lovely colors of yarn for your project. I've been slacking on everything, including my knitting. I'm reading "The Book Thief" and since it's a library book I'm on a deadline!

By the way, we are getting snow here today. I'm bummed but we need every drop of moisture we can get!

Thanks for visiting me already.
Congrats on being number one!!!

Happy belated WOYWW
