Sore eye anyone?...

My eye felt a little gritty yesterday and by last night it felt like I had a rock in it! I've had this before...my Dr said it was like a stye up under the eye lid and gave me chloramphenicol eye ointment. My darling hubby ran me to the nearest chemist at 10 o'clock to see the pharmacist and to pick up a new tube of ointment. I'm being a good girl and putting the ointment in regularly but this morning my eye looks like this! How am I supposed to do the mountain of sewing when I cant see through the tears? It's a real pain. Please keep everything crossed for me that it improves very soon because I have to sew....full 'to do' rail calling me!!

Ouch. Hope it clears up soon. Be a good girl and keep 'taking the medicine'.

Hopefully most folks will manage without their trousers being turned up for a couple of days. Hope you don't get any desperate brides this week though.

Lovely to see you and Jo on Saturday. Many thanks for coming and supporting us.

I get styes if I don't get a minimum amount of sleep (common in my house). I find they go away on their own quicker than if I use an ointment from the Dr. But they are painful.

Oh I do feel for you ... I suffered terribly with styes as a child and in my teens ... there used to be some stuff called Golden Eye Ointment but I think it's on the banned list now and my mum used to bathe my eyes with cold tea. Hope it clears up soon x

Oh I do hope it clears up very soon, mind you if it doesnt start to mend it might be worth an extra visit to your doc?
Have you tried taking anti-histamines also? It wont do any harm but might help with any irritation??

Well I think Dr BoKanky has retired for the day now! lol!

Hope your day improves for you.

Oh, ouch. Lots of sympathy and healing vibes from here...for me they are a sign of stress...and your full 'to do' rail is certainly a sign of that...hope it gooes as fast as it came. x
