This week's smiles....week 487

I'm a little later today....I forgot to write it and automatically publish it last night so I'm up at silly o'clock this morning to write it [because I have a very full day sewing today and can't do it later].

It's been another manic week here at Sewing by Annie's but I have had lots of smiles on the way.

We went to watch Lexi and Sam performing in Nativity the Musical at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury on Friday night....had to buy the programme of course because they were in it :-)

The show was amazing and made even more so when your grandchildren are in it.  It was Sam's first time on the big stage [Lexi has been living the dream for a couple of years now] and it is really lovely to see their confidence grow.

Tuesday saw me going to an opticians appointment and needing new glasses....over £300!!  Not something to smile about really but following that I have had enough work in to pay for them....it never fails to amaze me how this often happens to me.

Later in the day I had my Diabetic MOT and they are very pleased with my Diabetes now....losing over 3 stone has really helped.

Little Louie is growing fast and this week he's been to a photo shoot so I thought I would share a few of the gorgeous photos with you.  He's at such a lovely age now and seems to be changing every time we see him.

Of course it wouldn't be a Friday without a few funnies.  I hope you've all had a good week and have something you can link up at the bottom of the page to share with us.

Hugs,

Annie x

How lovely to see Lexi and Sam in the musical. They are so talented. I notice there is another Lexi in the production. That must have been confusing.
Such good news that your diabetes is OK. You have been amazing in losing all that weight. You deserve a pat on the back. (Well more than a pat really. How about a thump? lol)
Louie is absolutely gorgeous. Good photographer too with a very beautiful autumn theme.
I giggled at the funnies. I was going to add the Masterchef cat too. (Glad I didn't).
Don't work too hard,
Keep smiling,
Hugs,
Lisca

How lovely to see Sam and Lexi on the stage. These productions are always so special, especially when 'one of yours' is inthe cast.
The photos of Louie are beautiful. He has a gorgeous little face and smile.
Your funnies made me smile, especially the ast one. Tango sits on my lap all evening and he keeps me so warm.
new glasses are always a hit on your pocket these days, but at least you can still do all your sewing to keep the coffers topped up!
Well done on your diabetes control. I am afraid mine is not doing well at all, and nothing I have tried so far has shifted my weight off. I know it wuld help if I could.
Hope you have a good week. Kate x

Hi Annie, pleased you're keeping busy. I don't know where they get the prices from for spectacles it's quite crazy but they are much better than they used to be. I am loving little LOuie he is so cute....I want that cardi he's wearing, I often drool over the kids knitwear in the supermarket. I am a great believer in children being involved in this kind of activity, I used to love it and I know it did a lot for my confidence when I started working as a teacher. Hope Milly's good too. I am loving the funnies. Our two prefer to sit with Des now I wish I had encouraged them more to sit with me as they are great for warming you up. I believe that's why you often see dogs at the bottom of the medieval coffins as that was one of their jobs to keep your feet warm. Have a good weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
