Happy Wednesday all. Here we are, yet again, at the best day of the week when we all link up with creative desks all around the world. I've had very little sewing from customers this week so I've been making the best of the break and been making a start with my Christmas cards. My desks and tables are all full to over flowing with crafty goodies so I'm just quickly going to show you what I've been busy with...
The sewing machine has been well used and there has been lots of 'push back' been going on to have room to sew....even the box of metallic threads is out today.
It wasn't a good start as I sewed 2 of the toppers together and had to unpick the machine embroidery stitch!!
The results of the sewing is piled up on my cutting station....there's 20 in the one pile and 6 little Bethlehem scenes in the other pile.
I have even had the glass paints out and done a couple on laminated sheets....but half the glass paints have been thrown out and the rest were put away in disgust because either I couldn't open the tops or the paint was drying up so won't be doing any more like these.
So that's all from me for today....I have many more cards to make yet so I hope my Christmas mojo comes soon so I can get them done. Any ideas are welcome on a postcard :-)
Hugs,
Annie x

Oh Annie, I am so behind with the Christmas cards and lacking so much motivation I just feel annoyed with myself. I bought a new stamp and thought it would inspire me, now I can't find the darned thing. Ah well, glad you have made a good start. Now to follow you.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx
Sometimes it seems i spend more time unpicking than I do getting things done!
Lots of exciting goodies there!

Thanks for linking me up. Sounds like you and me are in the same frame of mind when it comes to C cards! I do like your Bethlehems though! xx Jo
Don't you just hate it when things dry out? I've got a few products that have expired and it's usually because they're not good quality - some others still go strong 10 years down the road! Happy cardmaking - love those cat squares! xx zsuzsa #20
Hi Annie,
I’m not at all into Xmas yet, but I love your little cat cards!
Take care, stay safe and happy WOYWW

I'm not in the mood for Christmas either. Hope you have a productive week Helen #1
It's only after Christmas that I feel in the mood for making Christmas cards and it might well happen this year as we wont be going away skiing sadly (tears, sniff sniff). Sending woyww hugs, Angela x14x
What a pain about those paints! No wonder you won’t be using those again, I have to say that it’s pots of glue that drive me mental. Love the look of your little cards, I did make a few from some of the cross stitch I did but also discovered a box that I bought in the Oxfam sale last January - doesn’t that seem like ages ago now?!

Happy WOYWW. Great idea to sew some cards. I might attempt to do some with my new (and very small) machine from Aldi. Carry on enjoying your break from 'work sewing'. We are hoping to get away for a couple of nights in a fortnight - just to North Wales - it depends on the weather, but we definitely need to get away from the farm/computers for a bit. Ali x #25
I would gladly share my Christmas Mojo if I had any. Yikes! You are patient to even have started on the glass paints, I’m passionately out of love with them, for all the reasons you’ve experienced. Haven’t missed mine at all! I did look at your Elf outfits, just fab they’d re too, you have the patience of Job!
I have only made two Christmas cards so far! Trying to find a simple thing to do that will be quick. I love what you have done so far with the stitching. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless. Caro xxx (#13)
Annie, I TOTALLY get your disgust with the paints!!! LOL Half of the time I can't open either.....a testament to the fact that I sure do need to use more of those guys!!! LOL But lucky for me, I have my daughter's boyfriend who resides with me who does ALL the manly chores.....including opening up ALLLLLL the bottles I can't open, which is A LOT since my hands tend to freeze up from time to time! LOL I love your Bethlehem scene, but those kitties are sooooo cute!! Love, love! :) Blessings for your week! Felicia #32
Hello Annie. Love the card ideas. I have a few done bit do need quite a few more. Re the knitted square ctoc - I first got this idea from you. Take care. Anne x 16
Hi Annie, looks like you're cracking on with the Christmas cardmaking, at last! I enlarged the first pic and I do believe you have the biggest collection of scissors of us all!!! Shame about your paints. Sadly, I've had to throw away dried out paints at times too. Hope you and the family are okay. Have a good week. Hugs, Ellie x #27
Love the cat toppers, they will make lovely Christmas cards. Happy WOYWW Angela #33
Pity your glass paints were such a disappointment Annie. Love the cards you did manage to make with them. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
Such a shame about the paints and know what it does happen to so many things if they are not used, Loving the card,
Stay well and safe,

You are well organised making all those cards. I’m so busy doing kits for the charity where I volunteer that I haven’t done anything towards my own Christmas yet. Sadly, I had to dump all pur glass paints during my declutter. Happy card making.
Love what you've been working on ! My goodness, unpicking it doesn't sound quite as fun though. Please share the cards you make when the mojo leaps awake
