Well? Did you miss me? I'm sorry about the lack of contact last week....Our week away meant no internet even though the cottage we were in advertised that it had it! [And yes we did leave them feedback].
So what's kept me smiling over the last 2 weeks?
It was Steve's 9th birthday this week and as you can see his Mum and Dad treated him to a new Arsenal goal keepers kit which he loves.
Each year Amy adds a new photo to his birthday collage....doesn't time fly?
Milly enjoyed a holiday at the kennels while we were away and here she is back home soaking up some rays on her favourite chair....think she's enjoying being home.
I thought I'd share a few snaps of the garden delights before the frosts come and kill lots of them off....don't you just love the Autumn colours?
Finally for those with my sort of sense of humour. I took this photo on holiday and sent it to our family with the title....Found him!
For those that don't get it I will explain next week :-)
Hugs,
Annie x
Looks like you got some incredible shots while in Cornwall. It looked so desolate in some of the photos and just the place to wind down. You also got some lovely shots of the area, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to Steve. Have a great weekend and Friday, too.
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention, I see you found Nemo.
Shame he's lost his stripes! Lovely holiday and garden pics too. xxx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finding Nemo! (chuckle)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your photos of Cornwall. I have a huge screen and your photos enlarge perfectly. Cornwall is really lovely. We know it quite well, although most of my time spent in Cornwall was years ago. I haven't been there recently.
Happy birthday Steve! I assume he is still doing well as a goal keeper. Well done. Looking at his yearly pictures, it is the third year in an Arsenal shirt.
I smiled at Milly enjoying her home comforts and the garden still looks beautiful.
Have a lovely relaxing weekend,
Stay safe,
Hugs,
Lisca
It's a shame the weather wasn't kinder for you, but Cornwall is always a lovely place to be. No doubt you are still glad to be home now and it looks as though Milly is too.
ReplyDeleteAn Arsenal goalie top was a highlight on one of our birthdays, Jonathan's I think and he wore it until it was in shreds. It seemed to grow with him!
The Autumn colours are lovely in the gardens and countrysides now. We don't get the distinct seasons the same out here, but the tamarisk bushes do go rusty in October.
I hope you feel refreshed after your break, and ready for another week of sewing and smiles. xx.
Beautiful pictures even if it's rainy, you can see the colors of all the sail boats. Milly does look very happy to be in her spot in the sun. Look at all the late blooming flowers in pretty autumn shades ~ Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I found him too!
that's one relaxed pup on the sofa... probably bored by the tv show she was watching
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, I'm here at last. This has been the story of my life this week just had stuff on. Pleased to see you had a nice time away and Milly is obviously making up for being in the kennel though I bet she enjoyed that too. Maisie and Stan love it as they can bark as much as they like and get as dirty as they like without constant baths, great dog stuff. And yes I get the photo. Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteGlitch in my Google account so here goes again! Lovely photos and glad the rain didn’t keep you indoors on your well deserved break. Have a lovely weekend
