WOYWW...

Oh dear....I'm late, I'm late for a very important date.  It was a case of it was Christmas Day then Boxing Day......Oh no It's Wednesday!!!  I wonder how many other of you have been caught out this week by not knowing what day it was?

So as my desk hasn't been touched all week and my sewing room has only been used and a Christmas parcel wrapping station I am showing you the kitchen table where we have been playing this week....

It's the compulsory Christmas jigsaw.  It's a 1500 piece jigsaw that's too big to be done on the coffee table in the living room so, as you can see, there will be no eating done at the table until it's finished....and that may be a while!

So there you go.  I'm not sure it's what you came here to see but I didn't want to miss out on the fun.  I hope your Christmas was magical and here's hoping 2018 brings you all everything you wish for yourselves.  Happy New Year to you all and lets hope we can all enjoy another wonderful year of fun and friendship.
Hugs,
Annie x

Happy New Year Annie! Your jigsaw looks great - Christmas at my parents was always jigsaw time, I do miss that (no space here sadly!) Helen #1

Don't worry Annie, you're not the only one with no actual desk picture! Good luck with the jigsaw; we haven't got very far with the family one over at the parents'. We've been too busy playing Cards Against Humanity and Mexican Train. Happy New Year Sarah #14

Hi Annie, as Sarah says, no proper desk pic from either, so it's all good. I've had to keep telling myself what day it actually was since last Saturday, lol. Yes, looking forward to another year of weekly meetings, Have the rest of a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #13 XxX

These puzzles can be so addictive! It's been years since I've done one. I've got one of those large portfolios that allow you to lift it off the table - I think it's a good idea. You can even zip it up and store it vertically - the pieces stay in place (or at least they're supposed to). This looks like a biggie with 1500 pieces - the largest I've ever done was 1000. And there were a few that I had to give up on - they were just too difficult. A good puzzle is just hard enough to be challenging, but not so hard as to be frustrating! Good luck with yours - looks like you're well on the way- show us when it's all finished! Best wishes for 2018! zsuzsa #19

Oh Em Gee! That will take a while! I bought my very skilful jigsaw friend one that I am hoping will tax her. Bought her a similar one last year and at last managed to get one that lasted more than a few nights.
Enjoy your jigging.
Have a Wonderful Year Ahead with lots and lots of Annie Smiles - Hugs, Neet xx

We have to get our puzzles out yet. I leave it on the dining room table as we don't use that much anymore. Just haven't had extra time this year. Was hoping for Christmas guests, but didn't happen this year. Kids went to Disney World. Love the post below, with all your cute grand children. You are so fortunate to have them close by. Wishing you and yours a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. And Best Wishes for 2018.

Happy WOYWW. I love doing jigsaws. Never seem to do them any more, but our local library lends them out, so when it re-opens in 2018 I think I will go and choose one. Ali x #9

Hi Annie, hope your New Year is good too. I just don't know where the last few days have gone, my parents were no sooner here than it was time for them to go home. I am so lucky to still have them at 89 and 90 so every Christmas now is special now that we can spend it together. Thanks for the visit to mine and have a great woyww. Angela x12x

Have you finished the jigsaw yet, lots of folk seem to do Christmas jigsaws. I used to have a felt to do the jigsaw on then wrap it round a large tube for storing. We could never eat off our knees!! Wishing you a peaceful New year. ANickoana#6
