WOYWW....

Here we are on the last show and tell before the big day.  My desk is full of Christmas wrapping this week and I can't share that so I thought I'd show you the mince pies and little buns I've been making on the other 'desk' in my life and the row of little stockings I've finished knitting and strung up across our fire place.....a well used fireplace this week because our heating boiler broke down last Friday and although we have insurance that says they should come and fix it within 24 hours it took them until yesterday before we had hot radiators and hot water!!!

Please help yourselves....I even made the chocolate gingerbread men myself :-)

And that just leaves me to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Christmas.  Thank you for calling in here each week and leaving me such lovely comments.....lets hope 2018 comes with many more wonderful weeks of sharing and caring.
Hugs,
Annie x

Why do boilers always break down when it's coldest?? The same thing happened to us a few years back and that's when we got the woodburner! I'm glad you're warm now. Lovely looking cakes and treats there, you can't go wrong with a proper butterfly fairy cake (none of this blooming Cupcake rubbish!!)
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with all your lovely family. Thanks for all your fab comments this year - let's hope 2018 is just as good!

Your baking looks so good. I was surprised at the last post, of all the snow ! It's totally missed us so far, ok with me as I too do not go out in it as freely as I do in drier conditions. Wishing You and Yours a Very Merry Christmas

Hi Annie, I'd scoff those gingerbread men in an instant if I could - they look yummy. Bet the little elves thought so too. The tiny stocking are adorable and such a good idea of have them strung up like that. Glad to hear you are all toasty warm again, and that you now have hot water. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas filled with loads of fun and laughter. Hugs, Ellie x #17

Sorry about the boiler...doesn’t the house get cold so quickly. Misery, very glad that you’re back in the rosy warm and pink now. It’s been a good blog year, huh.....and a wonderful weekend in LLandudno was icing, how much giggling!! Love to you both, Happy Christmas!

Hi Annie, I hope you contact the company who sold you the insurance as you should get a refund of all payments made as the contract was not fit for purpose. I love the look of your baking, quite scrummy. I am sending you big Christmas hugs. Thanks for the visit to mine and have a good woyww too, Angela x8x
