WOYWW...

Hello folks.  It's just a quick post for me today before I rush off to have another twinnie munchkins fun day.  I seem to spend most days chasing my tail but am loving every minute of it.

On my desk this week is...

A quilt that I am in the process of machine quilting.  It's one the wife of one of my customers was making before she died and I am aiming to get it finished to take it with me on Saturday to the little craft fair in Pontesbury [it starts 10.00 am in the hall behind the Congregational Church, Pontesbury if you're in the area...I'd love to say hello] to raffle it to raise money for our local hospice.....wish me luck on getting it finished cos it's rather intricate and is taking a while to quilt.

She had also started to make these little tree hangings so I have now completed them and will sell those too I hope.

I have used some of the gifted fabric and have used a pattern I found on Pinterest to make these two little reversible children's aprons....cute or what?

It's been a busy week trying to get ready for Saturday's sale because I've also had a steady trickle of customers popping in with sewing jobs for me too and today will be my third munchkin day of this week but life here in our new home is just wonderful :-) :-)
....and of course I managed to slot in a visit from our new little family member too.....well a Great Aunty has to have a cuddle doesn't she? :-) :-)  Little Ben is simply gorgeous.

Thanks for popping by this week.  If you leave my a little hello comment to let me know you've been I will do my best to catch up with you at some point tomorrow.

Hugs,
Annie x

Oh Annie, you put me to shame with all the sewing you do. You seem to have settled in nicely to your new home and I am so glad you have a trickle of customers already - see, your fame goes before you. Wish you were closer and I'd be amongst them.
Good luck for Saturday - hope you sell loads and raise lots of money for the worthy cause.

Annie, the lovely little pinnies, the Christmas gift stockings - trust they sell well. Hope you get that quilt finished in time. Well done - and I am so very glad you are enjoying your new home. You certainly sound really settled already!!!
How long is the sale for on Saturday? we would love to come down - is the venue mobility scooter friendly? We have our flu jabs Sat am, so the sale would need to be still going in the afternoon...?
Take care. God bless.

Such a nice thing Annie, to finish the lady's sewing, am sure the hospice will truly appreciate your effort. If it doesn't sell, they could prolly use it; our hospice loves to supply a quilt or blanket for patients. Sorry to read of Shell's affliction, I truly hope it's sorted as quickly and painlessly as possible. xx

Hi Annie, I can't believe how busy you are and you so recently moved house ... I'd be on my knees, I think. Good luck with the quilt - I hope it raises a fortune :) The little ornaments and aprons are fab too. Hope the fair is a raging success. Hugs, Elizabeth x #51

PS: you won't be seeing that video in a post anywhere soon ... I was totally embarrassed by it. I think I tried to share it with my husband and mistakenly shared it with you - clearly a very senior moment!!!

How lovely that you are able to give those things a new lease of life and hopefully get them sold. The little pinnies are adorable! Seeing your machine hard at work like that makes me envious - I can't wait to get my new machine going but am still working on other projects that must be finished first!
