Hi all.....It's a quick show and tell from me today.  There has been lots more packing, cleaning and boxing up plus we took load 31 to the tip at the weekend!!!....but we still don't have a moving date!!!

There has also been lots of preparation for a very special day on 4th August too cos that's the day my baby gets married [he's 26 and drop dead gorgeous but will always be my baby ]   :-)....and yes we are still hoping to get moved before the big day!!...please keep everything crossed for us.

So what's on my desk today?.....

This is the latest set of 6 mug rugs I've made with the bags of gifted fabrics....I'm really enjoying my creative times learning new skills...this is called a Japanese Folded square and doesn't it make the perfect mug rugs?....there will be more of these made...just watch this space.

Well that's it from me for this week....Short and sweet just like Julia requests :-)
Leave me a little hello comment and I will do my best to pay you a return visit....I couldn't leave comments on several blogs last week....I think blogger was playing up so if you didn't get a comment please don't think I didn't visit.
Annie x

Morning, Annie. Trust you get your moving date soon - golly, you will be busy if you move before Aug 4th. Trust THAT day will be so very special for you all.
Great mug rugs there.. how lovely it would be to see a panad (Welsh cuppa) on them. Well done.
Take care. God bless.

Love the mug rugs, a very pretty use if that gifted fabric. The lady who owned it would be so pleased to know her stash is being used and not just dumped somewhere.
Keeping fingers crossed for moving/packing/wedding to all go smoothly :-)
Hugs, LLJ 12 xx

When you've moved and settled, please come here and do 31 tip loads of sorting for me....I'm trying to do some life laundry whilst Miss D is away because she's a hoarder of proportion already!!
I dunno - if you move between now and the wedding - won't you just be ragged with exhaustion?
Either way, hope things move on steadily. xx

Love the mug rugs! Good news on the move - even if no date yet! By the time we had finished sorting etc before we moved the man at the tip was greeting us like old friends! Hope everything gets a shufty on! Chris 42 x

Hope you get your date soon. Our removals are coming on the 19th of August. Packing is continuous and organising is chaotic! :)

Blogger is being 'playful' again today I think. I couldn't get my post to publish earlier. Those mug rugs look great. You're certainly putting that fabric to very good use. Hope you get a date really soon xx

Hi Annie,

The mug rugs are very cool.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the move and hopefully it will all go smoothly this time.

Now, I want to see a photo of your handsome son! tee hee. How exciting to have an upcoming wedding - all the joy that will bring to the family.

Thank you for visiting me already. I hope Julia doesn't mind my kind of longish post (and no desk).

Hugs, Kay (65)

Happy WOYWW, Annie! Glad you were finally able to get through. I wonder why that happens.
Yes, I agree, they will always be our babies. I haven't had the excitement of a marriage for my kids yet but I can imagine!
Great mug rugs!

Yay that moving date will get close and it looks like you are super organised. Anyone who can make great mug rugs would have moving down pat. Have a lovely week.

Fab patchwork Annie, what a lovely idea those are. Never seen them before.
Now about you, how on earth you fit so much in I am always amazed. Impending move (so lots still to do) and a wedding around the corner. Gosh, 4th August - that's pushing it to be moved as well. Wish the date for moving would hurry and wish I lived nearer so I could help out.
Good Luck and lots of Love
Neet (thanks for the earlier visit - I am very late this week - blame the heat!!) xxx

Hi Annie, I really hope you get your wish and you move into your new house before the wedding. And don't be too sad about your precious baby getting wed, just think you are gaining another daughter and, if she is anything like my daughter-in-law, how lovely is that :) Love your mug rugs. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

OMG! This moving or not moving must be taking a toll...I'd be tearing out my last three hairs....I know I would. Or... shooting somebody...my husband says I am not allowed to own a gun for that very reason...he says I'd always be out of bullets...hahhahaha.....
