Another week of birthday celebrations for us.  Our twinnie munchkins were two last Friday and we have enjoyed lots of 'family together' times to celebrate.  Flat Susan was here to join in the celebrations and had  great time but is now enjoying a rest in her suitcase while flying over to the USA [see prev post].

Life here is busy, as always.  That's how I like it  :-)  I had the 'partied out' twinnies here to play with me Monday and Tuesday and we enjoyed chill out time......who am I joking?  2 year old twins?  Chilled out???  NEVER!!!  We certainly had a fun time.

I guess you're really here to see my desk thanks to Julia insisting I show it you  :-)

Well, here it is...

Yes I can do messy :-)

Lots of pink on show for an urgently needed little something...

Ribbon jar overflowing to find more pink.

All to make an urgently needed little tooth fairy pillow for Phoebe.....yes, she has lost her first baby tooth and the second is well on it's way!  Oh how quickly they grow up.

The writing is still wet  in the picture but looks much nicer now it's dry.  It has a little pocket across the corner to put her tooth in.

I'm also making a quilt for the next baby expected in the family...due next month [for a neice].  I'm just hand stitching around the little animals/birds etc in the middle to quilt it and finish it off.

Also got a little cardigan on the go for the expected baby too....we don't know what it is yet so I'm knitting a white one  :-)

So, as you can see, I've not been idle since you visited last week.....oh and have fitted in another viewing on the house and got to negotiation stages on sales....lets hope there is good news to share soon.

Until next week....lets hope you all have fun.
Big hugs,
Annie x

What a cute little 'tooth fairy' cushion, and that quilt is beautiful.I love to knit a tiny white garment whenever there is a new baby in the family. The young couple who run the Farmacia in our village had a babay boy while I was away and they have called him Angel. He is so gorgeous!
I have been away for a while so I must have missed some news. Have you sold your place, and is the new bungalow in the same area? I do hope everything goes through for you. My son is at the same stage so we are crossing everything for him too, as his last sale 'fell at the last hurdle'. Let's hope there are no such problems this time for either of you. Kate x #57

Fingers crossed, prayers sent up - all for the sale of the bungalow(s).
Lovely items on show today Annie, the idea of the tooth fairy pillow is lovely and one I might copy some day if that is alright with you.
That quilt! Well what can one say? Wow Annie - what a fabulous gift and what talent you have.

Ooh, so much happening and you still found time to visit me! Thanks, Annie! I adore the tooth fairy pillow: that is just sooo lovely. When our two were small we had a very inefficient tooth fairy who was always coming rather late. I had a mental image of her fluttering in looking somewhat distrait with pins flying out of her fine golden hair! Happy news about the house sale! Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #35

Beautiful tooth cushion. I made my boys tooth pillows too, one a rocket and one a Mickey Mouse, they still use them now when I I remember to get the fairy to take the tooth out And put money in.
Lovely projects on the go. Great quilt, can't believe you hand sew round all the animals. Now there's patience.

Gosh you are busy! Thanks for finding time to visit - I have made some more Christmas cards since posting but we nipped off to the cinema to see "Rush" - the film about James Hunt and Niki Lauder - hubby's choice but I quite enjoyed it too, Chrisx77

Hi Annie,

Lots of creative projects going on! The Tooth Fairy pillow is adorable!!!

The quilt is very sweet. I'm sure the new parents (and baby) will love it. I've not knit a baby cardigan (or any other clothing for a baby). Can't wait to see how it comes about.

Thank you for visiting me already!
I do like the cd shelving. So functional in my small space.
