WOYWW....

Thanks to the wonderful Julia you're here to see what's on my desk today aren't you?

Well, there are a lot of these...

Trousers needing shortening....and that's only some of them!

I'm playing catch up again today cos Monday and Tuesday I had a special time with.....

....these two little munchkins.

Here you can see them playing in a bowl full of bubbles / water....that's the easiest way to get two little munchkins clean when they have been painting.  :-)  I think they had as much fun in the bubbles as they did painting.

I'm also sharing my flowers with you.  "Why do I have fresh flowers on my table?"  I hear you ask.

Well, it's cos there has been a steady flow of people wanting to view our house.  :-)  So our weekends have been filled with depersonalising, dusting, cleaning and tidying and showing strangers round our home.  And what a game it is too !!

All I will say is please keep everything crossed for us.

That's all from me for today.  I will pay you a visit when I get a minute between my sewing jobs if you'd like to leave me a little hello message.  Thanks for calling by.
Hugs,
Annie x

  1. Glad to be back in the fold! Love seeing the munchkins having fun, they must love being at your place.
Don't envy you shortening all those trousers but worse still I hate jean zips! What a job unpicking the broken zip.
I'm on tenterhooks and longing for the right news. Finger and everything else crossed.

  3. Trouser shortening - aaargh! My advice to anyone thinking of teaming up with a chap for life - check that his inside leg measurement is a standard size, or find a good tailor(ess).

Don't the twins look cute :)

    Fingers are tightly crossed here!

  4. Hope all is successful with the house..everything is crossed for you :-)
Trouser shortening is my most hated sewing job ever...fortunately, none of my menfolk need that doing, for which I'm mightily relieved...... ;-)

  5. I don't mind shortening jeans but, like Jo, I hate re-doing the zip. I have a perfectly good pair waiting for just that for the last 2 years!

  6. Oh Annie, I have everything crossed! The flowers look lovely.
Not mentioning the repair jobs - too much like hard work.
Love the munchkins photo, what a delight those two are to all of us never mind you the proud grandparents.
Thinking of you and will be in touch.

  7. I would rather make curtains than hem trousers. Seriously. Fresh flowers, coffee smelling heavenly...oh I hope you get a result..and am delighted that there's been a 'steady' viewing stream..how did that happen?!

  11. Shortening trousers is the worst job ever and should never be put under the heading 'crafting'. Crafting is fun!

Thanks for sharing your crafting space and have a great week

  13. Hello Annie! Lovely to see you! Thanks for the visit earlier, btw! What lovely curls your little girl munchkin has! Good luck with the house sale. It takes time, but don't lose heart! My mum had 23 viewers and in the end she sold to a lovely young couple with two sons aged 2 and 4 who she feels happy to imagine living in her house and starting out on family life! Julie Ann xx #45

  14. I am sure the bucket of water kept them entertained longer than the painting. Best of luck with the house sale.

  16. Nothing like fresh flowers and the smell of coffee to welcome folk to your home, everything is still crossed for you!
Chris is like me... short... so every pair of trousers has to be taken up and I loath the job, plus I am really bad at it! LOL

  18. Hi Annie,

Boy, do I know about keeping a place in order when trying to sell. I'm glad that I've made the decision to stay where I'm at for a while longer, despite not having a craft room.

The flowers are beautiful and add a lovely touch to your dining room table. Good luck to you! I hope you sell quickly.

The little munchkins are so adorable! It's been fun to see them grow up right before our eyes.

    Happy WOYWW
    Hugs,

  19. I'd have a nightmare if I had to try and sell this place, as you have seen from my pics on WOYWW days I have a little "stuff".... so good on you - and I hope you get a buyer soon. The munchkins certainly look as if they are having bubbly fun. Helen 22.

  23. Having moved house last year, I do understand about keeping flowers on the table, keeping dusting, everything tidy... I trust you will soon sell, and be on your way.
    Have a good week.

  24. We were lucky enough to have moved house before putting the old one on the market so didn't have all the normal tasks of keeping the house tidy etc, as it was empty and we sold it within a few weeks. I hope you have similar success soon. It looks like your little munchkins enjoyed themselves loved every minute with you. Have a great week! Danie #38
