Grovel grovel.......
Do any of my wonderful, card making, blogging friends have a template to make a wedding invitation card with a pocket inside that extra info cards can be tucked into?
Our son is getting married August next year [I know, I know.... we are getting ideas and getting as much as we can done well in advance!! ] and a lot of his fiance's family will be coming from Italy so there maybe extra info cards [hotels available in the area etc] needed to pop into the invitation cards. Gina rather fancies a pocket of some sort inside the main invitations and we have seen some on line but we want to make our own.......Any ideas would be very welcome.

Ive done a few in my time but none from templates so much as glued on or folded up pockets. our Morti is getting married in June, her invite is a4 folded in half with a pocket attached to the inside right face...have a look at the appropriate gallery on splitcoaststampers.com, bet it will help!!
You used to be able to find self-adhesive clear pockets to stick on cards or paper, but won't anything like that make the card very bulky and spoil the look?

I made invitations for a niece's wedding a few years ago with flaps and each flap had a pocket to hold an info card for similar reasons. I will try to find a sample for you amongst my stash.
Weddings seem to be contagious in your family!!!
Hope Saturday went well,

I will have a think & see if I can draw you one Annie. Will send it by email my lovely xxx
Gorgeous flowers Annie!
As for your card, I was going to suggest Splitcoast Stampers, or even Di or Sandra might be able to point you in the right direction. Sandra likes folding things.
Ooo! What about Jules of Always with a Heart (she makes Wedding cards for clients and you can link to her on Di's Playground post!).
Hope you find some soon.

What about folding a sheet of thin card/paper in half with the fold at the base. (ie fold bottom to top) Then fold in half again to make a card fold (side to side). That gives you a kind of double card. Then take the top left corner of the inner section and fold down. Stick the corner down and it will give you a pocket. Think so anyway - works in my mind. You might want to stick some thin double sided on the side or leave it open. Am sure open would be fine.

if not let me know and I will have another think.
Came on here to ask you a favour. Can you tell me where I can get a 28/29 inch heavyweight zip for a jacket - ie opens both ends please. The one that is cream crackered is kind of brass looking.
Can't find your email addie or would have written and enclosed a photo - my addie is on my blog - RHG side.

Happy to help with the origami!! x Jo
Just got back from sons wedding ...emma made a folded card with a pocket ...if you are still stuck I'll see if she still has the template/instructions she used.
Those are gorgeous flowers ....congrats on 31 years .... and the little ones made me smile on the previous post.xx
Congratulations on your 31st wedding anniversary sweetie, sorry I can't help you with the template but I'm sure there will be some lovely blogger out there who can.
Hi Annie, The last lot that I made I brought already cut and just had to stick the sides because the bride wanted a certain card that I couldn't find flat, so that's not much help to you.
Just did an search on Google and found this site thought. There's lots of different shape templates on there so it might be worth having a look.

Sorry to hear your bad health news - but you're right it is good they caught it before you had the symptoms. And I hope your little one gets better and manages to keep out of hospital too.
You have such lovely flowers though :)
