Here we are at another week's catch up of the smiles from the previous week....and there's been lots.
We enjoyed another long weekend away in our caravan.
This time we had 3 night on the Cheddar Bridge campsite near Cheddar Gorge and these are a few snaps I took while driving up and down the Gorge....it's really spectacular and the photos don't really do it justice.
On the Saturday we went to the Wells street market...it was a really lovely market and we also walked through an arch to take a look at the cathedral....stunning.
The passage we went through had such and appropriate name I just had to take a pic :-)
On the Sunday we went to Weston Super Mare and enjoyed a lovely walk on the beach.....Milly made lots of new friends and enjoyed chasing the seagulls.
I popped out into the garden last night and snapped some of the pretty flowers we still have because I know many of you like to see them.
It wouldn't be a Friday without a few funnies.
I hope you all have had a good week and have lots of smiles to share with us by linking below.
Hugs,
Annie x

Sounds like you had a wonderful time at Cheddar Gorge. Your photos from your trip are beautiful and stunnng. I'm so jealous of your flowers. I have nothing except green at the moment.
I LOVED the airplane funny. Cats are the same way. Have a super rest of the weekend, Annie.
Another wonderful trip. I enjoyed seeing photos of places I know so well, having lived 20 years in that part of the country. I love Cheddar Gorge, have been to Weston-s-mare many times and have worked at the Weston hospital briefly. I love Wells and the market. Our church come under the bishop of Bath and Wells so we have been to Wells many times on church related things. But we also love the market. And we always would go say hello to the swans at the bishop's palace.
Oh your flowers are beautiful! Thanks for sharing them.
The funnies are great.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Oh, touring around is the best!!
I love especially the beach!
To dogs (cats and all animals)
Smile! :-)
Pleased to see you've had some time away, looks like an interesting place to visit. We still have a few flowers out butI've been round chopping stuff back this week. I am amazed at our Wisteria which must have flowered about four times this year when normally it's only twise so it's obviously enjoyed the weather. The funnies are good. Whoever writes them certainly knows dogs. Have a good weekend. Hugs Angela xXx
Just watched the item on the Sea Monster made using an old oil rig in Weston. Did you see it? Lovely photos of your trips out and the garden blooms are fab. xx Jo
I am glad you enjoyed Cheddar Gorge. When I was litle our hoidays were often a series of day trips and one was to Cheddar and Weston-super -mare. I remember it well because I was so travel sick! Mum and dad loved their days out and sadly I spoiled a lot of them! But the scenery there is lovely.
Your flowers are still looking good. Most of these are ones that flowered for us a couple of months ago but they are all over now. We have the very last rose out and a few hibiscus but not a lot else.

all the comics so funny!
I wish I could be there to see the places you're seeing
It’s lovely to have a city break sometimes and we loved Wells Cathedral when we visited. Glad you had a mini break as the days are definitely shortening so we need to enjoy every moment outdoors.x Catriona
