We are both still working hard to shake off these Winter bugs....I've coughed so much that it's left me with a sore throat and a croaky voice!! ...I think I have actually damaged my vocal chords so healing will take it's time I guess.
Yesterday we took our motor home for a run out and had a day at Colwyn Bay....my Dad always said the sea air was good for coughs and colds so lets be hopeful.
Milly really enjoyed her run on the beach too.
I think it's a cormorant that's threatening to eat my hubby but of course it could be a shag.
I've had a lovely week making more Memory bears....this one was made using a Grandad's favourite shirt and.......
....these two were made from a Grandad's scarf for a customer who had 4 made before Christmas. When the family saw the others 2 more family members decided they wanted bears....I love repeat orders.
The other thing I'm quickly sharing are these two photos...as you can see Gina is completly hooked on her crocheting and really has made me very proud at what she has made already.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit this week and will leave me a little message to let me know you've called in. I will do my best to pop over to yours to see what you've been up to this week.
Hugs,
Annie x
I'm visiting the desks that have published before the link goes up whilst I should be getting ready for work... I may not be able to link up until this evening if it's not there before I leave.
ReplyDeleteI hope the sea air did you a power of good, the weather was kind to you at least! Glad that Gina is enjoying her crochet skills. Happy WOYWW Helen #?
Hi Annie
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to get out for a bit. I’m sure it will have done you all good. I know what you mean about the cough thing, I was the same. Now it’s the fatigue and joint pain. It’s lovely to see more of your beautiful memory bears. They are heartwarming
Take care and give Milly a hug from me xxx
Hi Annie Julia's back. Looks like a great walk you had. I agree the bird does look like a cormorant. Nice to see your family keeping up the crafting bug too. Have a good woyww, Angela x1x
ReplyDeleteWow Annie, Gina's crotchet is brilliant, just the thing for your winter weather.
ReplyDeleteSorry you're still fighting the winter coughs, etc. Not sure if you can get it there but our health food shop sells colloidal silver and it s brilliant for throats and coughs.
Just gargle it, the swallow. Praying you're chipper soon lovely pics, too.
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

Great crochet G! Of course, I think the bird is a cormorant but the photo may be something else to you! Hope you had a lovely day and that the fresh sea air blew those bugs away! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Annie. How wonderful to see the sea. Hopefully it will aid you both on the road to recovery.
ReplyDeleteFabulous crochet - you are right to be proud. Bears are super as always. Take care. Hope you soon properly well. Anne x 15
Fair play to Gina, she’s taken to crochet very well, they look great! Lovely pics from your run out, the sea air will have done you good for sure and helped your lungs and general well being. Love the pic of Doddy, that’s one big bird!

Such talented grandees.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of David being eaten alive but that bird is rather big as which variety it is. maybe it isn't really alive?
Take care, don't talk much.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
It’s lovely when the grandchildren show an interest in our crafts, no wonder you are proud of their work. Have a great week Angela #10
ReplyDeleteGina’s crochet looks good. I’m glad you managed to get out to the seaside, though that bird looks dangerous 😏
ReplyDeleteRegular hot honey, lemon and ginger will help you recover. With whisky when appropriate!
Your bears are so wonderful, I’m not surprised you get repeat orders.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Hope the voice and throat improve soon Annie - looks like a good day out in the sea air at least. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteAw Annie, am so sorry it’s taking so long to get back to your full on form. Coughing is exhausting and the old ‘take your time’ thing starts to get very old doesn’t it. We could do with a nice early spring! I hope the sea air did help a bit…our family GP used to always recommend a day by the sea for colds and flu and sinuses, specially when Jenny was little and ear infections. And apart from monster Cormorants, being by the sea does do some good, huh….I hope you warned Doddy!!
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, lovely to hear you're getting out with your campervan again. That bird looks scary, too scary to be standing so near as Dod was, that's for sure. Seriously, it looks fantastic and the fresh air is surely good. As Alan often reminds me the seaside is the best place to live if you have asthma.
ReplyDeleteThis week's bears are as lovely as always and it must be rewarding to have people come back for more.
Gina is a quick learner for sure. The hats are fab but the cowl is gorgeous, and so cosy too. Hope she finds time to keep it up when life gets back to normal again.
Have a lovely week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #26
I hope you and your family fully recovers soon! I gave my hubby Delsym for his cough when he had a cold.
ReplyDeleteLove the bears. I made one years ago for my mom but it was a different pattern.
Love the pics of your kids!
Have a great week!
