Yes, another week has flown by and here we are at my favourite day of the week when we share our desks and what we have been busy with over the last week with our creative friends from all around the world...if you want to know more then pop over to The Stamping Ground where our wonderful Queen of snoop, Julia, will have details of how you can join in the fun.
Right I will get straight down to what's on my desk today.
As this is the only work I have had all week I have been doing lots more sewing for pleasure.
This little Memory Elephant has gone to his new home near Welshpool now.
Meet Freddie Badger. I've made him a smart grandad style shirt and he is now wearing the dungarees you saw Reynard Fox wearing last week because....
....Reynard Fox is now wearing a rather smart pair of cord breeches and I have a shirt all ready cut out for him so may well be making that this morning.
Meet Hugh Dog....no clothes as yet but he will get some. He was really tricky to make...I actually felt a degree in sewing was needed to get him to look right :-)
Finally [for today at least] meet Daisy sheep. She was so much fun to make....I'm thinking of making wigs like this for all that need them :-)
I'm having so much fun making Luna Lapin's friends and am really glad to have them to keep me smiling. Phoebe [my eldest granddaughter] What'sApps me every night and loves to see what I'm making next...she's my driving force :-)
Hugs,
Annie x
What a delightful animal community you are building up. There must be a name for a group of different animals. Love the Badger and the Sheep is such fun with her curly hair, she has to be a female, please tell me she is a girl.
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay safe and well, Hugs, Neet 9 xx
They are all so gorgeous and I love their little outfits. Thanks for linking me. xx Jo
ReplyDeleteReynards got the same breeches on as me. It’s my urchin look haha.
ReplyDeleteI’m loving all your animals Annie. They are a little world of stories.

The animals are great, Annie. I love the badger and the sheep especially. As the page scrolled down to your sheep, I wondered if it would be an alpaca. We have some up the hill from us and they always make me smile, too. It’s great that your granddaughter takes such an interest.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and happy WOYWW

I love them all! I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere about social distancing and bubbles... Making clothes for my "friends" was my first crafty exploration but I didn't have anyone to teach me and I still can't sew for toffee now. Your family are lucky to have someone to pass the baton too, and to keep you going each night when you "see them"! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #10
ReplyDeleteThose animals are fantastic and once again I am in awe of your sewing prowess! I think the dungarees look much better on the badger and the cord breeches are absolutely perfect on the fox! Many congrats on the weight loss, that is great news, and I hope that the new meds help and don’t have the Side effects mentioned!

Great collection of pets and I bet who ever received the elephant was very pleased indeed, he/she is lovely. It's nice to that you've got some time for yourself too. I thought last year seemed to go slowly but certainly this month is going really quickly. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, your sweetpea header always makes me smile - they are so fresh and cheerful. The elephant is gorgeous and Luna Lapins friends are fabulous - just the thing to while away an hour or so. You should be awarded an honorary degree in sewing. My favourite today, and that could change tomorrow, is Daisy the sheep - love her curly fleece. Here's to a good week ahead. Hugs, Ellie x #30
ReplyDeleteOh Annie, those new friends of Luna's are fabulous. Freddie Badge definitely suits the dungarees better than Reynard who lloks cool in his shorter breeches. Have fun dressing the others! Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteYour animals are so cute! I don't think I could choose between them. Good to have some free time to get on with your own projects. You are cracking those scrap pages! Happy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, Cindyxx #8
