We've got through another week of lockdown and I'm still smiling....I hope you are too.
There are signs of Spring popping up in every corner of our garden and that is definitely something to smile about....I love Spring.
I've had flowers through the post this week and that really made me smile. I love freesias especially and even had them in my Wedding bouquet a few years back.
Life in lockdown for the family is far from easy when homeschooling has to be fitted in with full time work but I am really loving the photos I am being sent....This is my baby boy with his baby boy :-)
And finally here's a few of the funnies that have had me chuckling this week...I hope they will make you smile too.
You got some darling flowers. Looks like your garden is growing, too. So fun to see Theo and his dad having fun putting a puzzle together. I LOVE the Spock funny. Have a great Friday and weekend. I'm off to bed and must be at the bank in a few hours.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Annie
ReplyDeleteAnother week has whizzed by. My week see,s to start on Wednesday with WOYWW and our weekly shopping trip to the local market. Then my next on the calendar is joining you here on Fridays. And how lovely it is to see photos of your gang and hear what you’ve been up to.
At the moment I’m blogging for England. Posts are coming thick and fast. I think it’s because I’ve got a new iPad and it’s easier it’s easier to see than my phone which I previously blogged from.
So I’ve a trip down to Mum’s later and a promise of beans on toast made by the other half for tea.
Have a good weekend
Lots of love Lynn xxx
Haha looking at the spelling on my comment it seems I’ve not quite got to grips with things yet haha
ReplyDeleteAw - 2 lovely boys!! Your funnies certainly made me smile. xxx Jo
ReplyDeleteOh snowdrops! Spring is coming... well, nearly. I love the tulips (I'm Dutch) and like you I also love freesias. Especially when they are fragrant.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of Theo and his daddy doing a puzzle. Yes, our kids find it difficult to combine working from home with home schooling. What a nightmare. My daughter-in-law is an essential worker, they had only room for one of her boys at their school, so the eldest is at home. Both parents work from home and can't keep him entertained, so it is far from an ideal situation.
The funnies are really great. I love the one with the telescope. But really we love them all. Yes, I always read them out to my hubby and we both have a chuckle at breakfast.
Have a lovely weekend,
Stay safe,
hugs,
Lisca
PS I also read your wednesday post. Love the dungarees.
Looks like the snowdrops are popping up everywhere this week. Nice flowers in the vase too. Good to see the boys having fun together. I know it's hard for parents but I hope having to teach their own children might just make some parents appreciate the teachers a bit more. I loved teaching and most parents were very supportive but there were odd ones......well that's enough Lol! Really enjoyed the funnies too, we need something to make us smile at the moment. Take care and have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have snowdrops in the garden. They are certainly a sign that Spring is on the way.
ReplyDeleteI feel for sorry for parents trying to home-school their children while also dealing with their own 'home-work'. I think I would have enjoyed it for a while but not everyone is a born teacher.
I loved the funnies; some I'd seen and others I hadn't, but it is always good to find things to smile about. Kate x
Love the photos of the boys-such a loving little boy. Funnies are good fro raising the spirits-thank you. 💕
