WOYWW...

Oh  what a lovely day we had linking up with everyone on zoom on Saturday.  It was to lovely to see so many joining in the fun.  Many thanks must go to Julia for making it possible.

I have now finished the little Covid safe gingerbread men I was making and half of them have already gone to their new homes.  For those that didn't see them on Saturday here's the ones I still have here....

I'm sure they will put a smile on faces as they are hung on their trees this year.

The only other thing I have here to share with your today is my rail full of sewing that I did on Monday...
  • I made 4 Christmas face masks
  • Shortened 3 nurses dresses
  • Put a new 28" open ended zip in a man's coat
  • Shortened 3 pair of trousers
Not a bad start to my week eh?  I love it when I'm busy.  I have 5 shirts coming in the post from Cornwall that should arrive today for me to make 5 Memory bears out of so that should fill the rest of my week hopefully.

I hope you're all happy and well and will leave me a little message to let me know you've called by.  I will do my best to pay you a visit in between my sewing jobs.
Hugs,
Annie x

  6. I have so much admiration for anyone who does alterations as they are usually more difficult than starting from scratch, when things can be done in the right order if you know what I mean!
Great to have a link up on Zoom on Saturday!

  7. Hi Annie, lovely post and your sweet pea header is a joy to behold. I love your Covid safe gingerbread mean - they will be an annual reminder of this appalling year. Not that we'll need reminding - I think it will never be forgotten. Good to see business is steady and that there's more memory bears in the pipeline ... I know how much you enjoy making them. Hope you're feeling a bit better and have a good week. Hugs, Ellie x #34

PS: Love the photo of the twins in their stockings!

  9. You stay busy and that is a good thing! The gingerbread men are adorable!

I would have loved to attend the Zoom meetup, but Saturday is my Shabbos, so I miss a lot of crafting events. Still, it appeared that everyone enjoyed being able to put a face to the name. I'm afraid my picture will have to do unless we have a Zoom meeting during the week! :D)

    Stay busy, stay safe,

  13. Hi Annie, you're so right it was brilliant on Saturday and can't wait to do it again. Pleased to see you busy. I thought I'd never get to the posts today, three deliveries of craft stuff, one delivery of a surprise raffle prize, walking dogs, sorting mum's vaccination, trying to finish some cards and that's without the usual stuff like cooking Lol! Wishing you a lovely creative week, Angela x19x

  16. It is a pity I missed you and your wonderful gingerbread men, they really are so cute with their masks on. How they will be loved and serve as a reminder of this year that we have grumbled about but have got through. Despite the restrictions.
