It's been another lovely week filled with plenty to smile about here this week. I'm going to start off with our little Yoda...
"Love you lots, nanny I do" . Isn't he just gorgeous?...maybe I'm just biased :-)
Phoebe and Lulu have been baking [just look at the concentration on their faces]...flapjacks and rocky road cakes this time. They love helping in the kitchen and can now cook all sorts...they are a credit to their mum and dad.
Little Milly is our guard dog [I think she thinks she's an Alsatian]. This week, because it had been so hot, we opened the front door and put a stair gate across the gap to keep her safe. She really loved the fact she could see so much more.
This is my collage of the smiles that keep coming out in our garden. Our sweet peas are now blooming and I love them. I can see them from my sewing room and they make me smile every time I look at them.
I hope you have enjoyed my smiles for this week and will leave me a little comment before sharing yours by linking up below.
Hugs,
Annie x

A young Yoda. How cute is Theo. And I'm impressed the girls cook so well. I can't bake at all. The baking gene didn't make it to me, possibly because my grandmother was the best baker I've ever known.
Gosh Annie, your gardens look wonderful. I finally got ONE yellow flower on ONE tomato yesterday. I was excited. By the time I finally get a tomato, it will be winter (grin).
And there's nothing cuter than Milly and her antics. Have a super Friday and a great weekend. I'm off to bed because I have an early eye appointment in the morning.
Oh Theo is so gorgeous. And he is growing so fast!
I am so glad the girl are learning to bake and to cook. Now that there is no more domestic science in school, there is a generation that can't cook. It is one of life's skills. So well done Phoebe and Lulu.
Milly seems very pleased to be able to 'guard' the house through the open door. Bless her.
I am envious of your plants. But I must say we have eaten our first tomato. Your flowers are absolutely beautiful, especially the fuchsia.
I can well imagine it gives you much pleasure to look out into your garden.
Wishing you a happy Friday, and a great weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Looks like you've had another great week. Little Milly is so cute. The weather looks a bit different today and I am supposed to be going walking with a friend but guess we'll survive the wind. Gorgeous garden pics again and pleased to see the little people keeping busy too. Have a great weekend, hugs, Angela xXx
The sweet peas are so lovely and your garden is looking good. Hope the wild winds don't spoil it for us all. Love to see the girls happily baking - just like their Mum. xx Jo
Of course you are biased but Grandmas are allowed to be, and Theo is very cute!
The girls are gaining such useful skills. Well done to mum for giving them time in the kitchen.
I can imagine Millie likes the open door. All our animals love to be in the porch where they are protected but can see everything going on outside. There is a dog flap so they can get out when they need to, and even Paco and Tango have learned to use it. Fortunately that is a step to far for Tolly yet, but he sits and watches and I am sure he will master it soon too.
Your garden is a source of so much delight. Sweet peas were always my favourites as a child. I have always loved the book illustrations by Cicily May Baker, and her sweet pea flower fairies show on older fairy trying on a flower head as a bonnet on her little sister and I just loved that picture. I always grew a few at home but they are too delicate for the harsh Spanish sun.

SO many tomatoes & beautiful blooms ~ I love your little Yoda and the girls baking :) Oh and Millies new hang out! Enjoy your weekend
Theo is lovely and of course you are a proud grandparent! Love all your flowers-no sweet peas for us this year sadly.
Love the pic of Theo and I am impressed at the girls' cooking skills. Love the pics of the garden flowers too, especially the sweet peas. I am trying to decide which of my new masks I'll wear to kew tomorrow - they arrived safely yesterday xx
So late again, sorry! Love Yoda and that he knows to speak the funny way round!! Bless all those children, I’m sure they have their moments but they do enjoy their sibling company dont they. Those bridesmaid dresses are lovely arent they and the blending of such a big family is just a joy, I can totally understand why you are so happy to have had a part in the wedding. Must have been nice to have your sewing room full of chatter and customer talk again.
Love all your photos! Especially love the picture of the sweet peas... my Dad grew prize winning sweet peas and I have always enjoyed growing them myself...
Sorry I am so late posting - have a good week!
