Well, thats another week passed and thankfully another week filled with smiles. We had a weekend away in our motor home so I must apologise to the ones I couldn't leave a comment on...the internet was hit and miss and my ipad wasn't allowing me to leave messages.
Here's my round up of smiles for this week....
Lexi is so flexable as you know. She is constantly showing us her latest dance moves and dropping into the splits. She is aiming to touch the back of her head with her feet in this photo because when I was a child I used to be able to touch the back of my head with the flat of my feet....it's been a while! As you can see she's very nearly there. 😍😍😍
While Lexi was at her dance workshop Sam had a 1:1 with his mum and he had a go at sewing a sock toy on her sewing machine...he loves to be creative. 😍😍😍
Phoebe is getting all she needs ready to start at her secondary school and very proudly showed me her new PINK calculater....she's very much a PINK girl' 😍😍😍
When checking on her list of what was needed her sister asked her if she needed the compass to find her way around the school. 😂😂😂
Amy's oldest dog Poppy has been being treated for a problem with her leg for a while now and had xrays taken which showed she had a problem with the cartilage in her one knee joint so this week she has had knee surgery done by a specialist from London.
Recovery has to be very controlled and will take months to heal properly but we are keeping everything crossed that it's successful for her...she's such a lovely dog.
Our garden continues to keep giving and this week we were able to pick the first peas and french beans and pull carrots for our tea.
😍😍😍
And finally here's the round up of our latest garden blooms....they just keep on giving and making us smile.
😍😍😍😍😍
That's all from me for this week so please leave me a little comment so I know you've called by and then link up to your own smiles below.
Hugs,
Annie x

Lexi is amazing. Sam and sewing. It's fun to see when boys are taking on traditional female activities. When I was a child, I made my allowance by changing oil, spark plugs, and filters in my Grandfather's cars. Today, you have to have a Ph.D. to work on the new cars (grin).
Poor Poppy. I hope she comes through this OK. I am sure Amy and her husband had to take a second mortgage on their home to pay for that operation (JUST SLIGHTLY JOKING).
Your garden is looking good and your flowers are simply amazing. Have a safe and happy Friday and weekend, too.
Ah - those flowers are beautiful - and so are those lovely gran children. Best of luck to Phoebe. Love Lulu's idea of using a compass!!! xxx Jo
Hi Annie. It's great to see the children so enthusiastic about their fitness and getting ready for school. I had to smile at Sam on the sewing machine as I always found the boys loved the machines at school. I had one boy who was so good that he used to almost take over the lesson. If their were other pupils having problems he would fix it while I got on with other stuff the only problem was trying to get him off them! I think it was one of the few things he was really good at in school and got great satisfaction from knowing it but so many secondary schools have almost stopped technology subjects like these as they are expensive to run. Hope Poppy gets over her operation okay, Maisie and Stan send best wishes and doggie hugs, Angela xXx
Oh your garden is so beautiful. I love the fuchsias. They don't do very well here unfortunately. And you have clematis. Everything is colourful. Enjoy!
Congratulations on your first peas (and beans). Don't they taste much better?!
It's a pleasure seeing the children developing and enjoying their hobbies. What a joy. Phoebe's school stuff is wonderful. Most girls go through a pink phase (and some girls never grow out of it!)
Well done Sam for learning how to use a sewing machine. And I marvel at Lexi the Flexi! She is unbelievable! And you used to be able to do that? I am seriously impressed!
Wishing you a great weekend,
(are you having a heat wave too? They have one in Holland)
Hugs,
Lisca
Wow ~ to be that flexible ~ That's wonderful! Good for Sam to learn how to sew and what a good mom he has to teach him. I wish our kids could go back to school. I see all those back backs in the stores and just wonder who is going to buy them all if everything here is virtual?! Blessings to Poppy for quick healing. So many beautiful blooms ~ Wonderful to see ~ Enjoy the weekend!
I always give a sigh of contentment after reading your smiles Annie. Your post is always so lovely and hits the spot.

Lexi is so flexible. I am sure she will soon achieve her goal. I remember my Ben learning to do that.
I do hope Poppy heals well. It is hard to keep an animal quiet and relaxed when they feel well enough to play.
I bet Phoebe is excited about her move to the 'big school'. It is a real turning point for them.
How lovely to be enjoying your own-grown veggies. I used to love that.
And your flowers are all beautiful as usual. What a lovely mix you have in your garden.

How lovely to see all your Friday photos. Everyone looks happy and I hope Poppy makes a good recovery. Very hot and humid today so I have just finished an hour of Pilates online which was lovely. It’s fakeaway Friday so chef. Ason is in the kitchen making a curry. Yum.Happy weekend to all.
Lovely to see the grandees here, Lexi is quite the little ballerina isn't she? I cannot believe you have a grandee starting secondary school - seems no time since they were weenies.
Hope the dog recovers well, not easy keeping them rested - I remember the problems with a cat we had.
Keep growing the produce and smiling
Hugs, Neet xx
