WOYWW....

As Christmas creeps crawls rushes at us at high speed I'm being kept very busy with all I like to do for the big day so without wasting any of our precious time I will speedily post a few pics of what I've been up to since you called here last week...

I've mounted these card toppers onto their cards and.....

....I've done these ones too so I think that's 40 now finished.

I've cut out all these little stockings and each one is backed with bond-a-web so they are ready to be ironed onto the next batch of cards.

I've been making fabric covered notice boards as a special order...a real labour of love so wont be advertising these to sell in a hurry.

Along side all the other alterations and repairs I've had to do this week I had to also open up the Teddy Hospital as this very special little bear required urgent day surgery so he could go home to his little owner for bedtime later that day.....I will add she was a very good patient and went home with her 'brave bear' sticker......Yes I know I'm nuts but it makes my customers smile :-)

That's all from me for today.  I will do my best to pop over to yours as some point but life here is rather hectic, as you can see.  :-)

  2. Hi Annie. Completely and utterly nuts - yes - but who would have you any different???!!! You are great! I love your cards. The stack is rapidly growing now - well done. Little bear, I'm sure, was much appreciated by her owner.
    Take care. God bless.

  6. Cards are beautiful and the next lot with the stockings will be interesting to see. You do some interesting repairs and I’m sure the young owner was delighted. I went to a class about making these notice boards and said never again! Happy sewing!

  8. Not nuts - caring! I think that is lovely that you sent the teddy home with a sticker for being brave.
Oh Annie, what are we like spending long hours making cards. If I do a quick one I feel I have not done it justice so it ends not being sent. What really upsets me is when someone says how nice it must be to save so much money and make your own cards - I want to slap them! I make them because I enjoy doing them but they cost so much when you reckon up how much you spent. That is why only handmade cards go to a few people on my list now.

  9. You did so well with the cards, Annie and it's so clever to put bondaweb on the back of the embellishments - must remember that! The 'brave bear' sticker made me smile - so sweet! Happy Christmas preparations! zsuzsa #20

  11. Hi Annie, yes, it's all getting to hectic at the moment - there's so much to do but you seem to be in complete control. So many tiny stockings to stick on cards too. The pin boards are lovely but I'm not surprised you don't want to go into full production with them - they look fiddly to make. Love the photo of the very brave bear awaiting surgery. I guess there's a very happy little one hugging her once more. Have a great week and hope you find some time to relax too. Hugs, Ellie x #24
