This week's smiles....week 290

It's a quick post from me for this week as sitting at the computer for long is still proving pretty uncomfy with this b***** sciatica.  I've managed to keep pretty busy with my sewing and it's been a week of birthday celebrations.

Yesterday was our daughter-in-law Gina's birthday and the twins 7th birthday....where have those years gone? Happy birthday to all three.

So here's a couple of quick snaps of the twinnies....

Here they are wearing the birthday coats we bought them on their way out to school.....they look so grown up now don't they?

And here they are wearing their Greatest Showman outfits that Great Aunty Jo made for them.....don't they look fab?  I especially love Lexi's pink wig :-)

That's all from me for this week.  I hope to be here with rather more to smile about next week.
Hugs,
Annie x

  1. Personally, those were really smile worthy and well worth taking the entire post. I adored seeing the twins. They are ALWAYS fun to watch as they grow. They now have some great coats for this winter, too. Those costumes Jo made them are SO clever and they wear them so well.

Thanks so much for linking me, dear Annie. I tried again and I still get that error.

Thanks for going the extra mile, because I know how difficult it is to sit when you are in pain. Please get better soon.

  2. You are right - where have those 7 years gone - doesn't seem five minutes since those tiny twinnies were born!

  3. Hi Annie, it's quite scary how the time flies. I love that green spotty jacket. I often look at the kids stuff and wish they did some of them in my size they are absolutely spoilt with all the gorgeous gear these days. Hope the pain goes away soon, I have to admit to having a similar problem myself at the moment and not been to the gym this week. I'm afraid it was my own fault as I spent some time working on the pond kneeling down and think I twisted something. Got to get that better in time for the skiing! Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx

  4. Happy Birthday to the twinnies, and Gina of course. I love their coats. They look lovely and warm for the winter term.
Sorry your sciatica is still causing problems. I hope it soon settles down.

  5. I’m so sorry that sciatica is bothering you. How awful. Let’s hope it will get better soon.
Another big sorry for not blogging. It’s just impossible on my phone. I can’t get my head around it. Blogger keeps telling me I need to use a supported browser. But the one I’m using (safari) is supported. So I have given up.
We are in the Manchester area at the mo, visiting grandchildren and other family members. Wednesday we will be traveling back to Somerset. As we usually avoid the M6/M5, we shall be coming through Shrewsbury. Are you going to be in that day? Could we pop in for a cuppa? I don’t know if you have my email address... It’s my name (and surname Meijer) Without capitals and without spaces, at rocket mail dot com.
Have a lovely weekend and perhaps....cu soon,
    Hugs,
    Lisca
