You will be pleased to know I've already cut into the fabrics I showed you last week and have made 8 Easter fabric 'boxes' to fill with Easter goodies.
This is one of the Memory bears I've made this week out of fabric from a Wedding dress. She has some of the lace sewn on the front and is wearing her own little tiara ....I think she has to me my favourite [but I say that about them all].
This was the Memory bear I made for the lady who won my 600th celebration draw. It's made out of her baby girls tiny babygros....they were that small that it took 4 of them to get enough fabric to make a bear with.....turquoise is my fav colour so I love this one too.
The other thing that's been going on here this week is a lot of long overdue catching up with my accounts for my business.....groan!!!
Not my favourite job to do but April will be here soon enough and I need to get my accounts up to date ready for the tax man.
So that's it from me for today really.....the book work will be keeping me out of mischief in between sewing jobs this week I'm sure. I hope you have more exciting activities on your desk this week....I will do my best to pop over to see what you've been up to ASAP.
Hugs,
Annie x

ReplyDeleteMorning Annie. Thanks for popping over. The Easter treat baskets are lovely, a clever idea. I saw the one bear before ? and the other is so sweet. Accounts - ugh!!! Have a great week. Anne x #15
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. Gorgeous Easter baskets - and both of the bears are lovely. Accounts - not so lovely. Thankfully I did my tax return on line back in January, and from now on I am purely employed by our farm business so our accountants will do it for me. Hurrah! Ali x #13
ReplyDeleteTreat bags are great BUT THOSE BEARS!! Gorgeous. Thanks for reminding me about accounts, haven't looked at mine since October, it doesn't take long (its purely record keeping as my little business could never reach tax thresholds) but still better to do sooner than later. Happy Wednesday Cindy #14 xx
ReplyDeleteYour makes are all fab - especially that little bride bear! x Jo
ReplyDeleteLovely makes this week - I admire the boxes on FB, very pretty indeed. Book-keeping makes me shudder....it puts the fear of God into me so well done for doing your own accounts. Brave gal, keep going!

I helped my friend in America with her tax return this year - she was trembling so much (medication) that she could not write so she did the math and I did the rest. Don't envy your task.
ReplyDeleteLovely Memory Bears as always and what a delight the wedding one is. As are the Easter boxes - lovely.
Hugs and thanks for the visit earlier, Neet xx
Such cute bears! I am still amazed at the easter eggs being in the shops now already, while it's still well a month away. Also good luck with the paperwork. Have a wonderful week! xoxo Cheetarah #21
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, My eldest son was talking about doing his bookwork the other day- he's a freelance TV editor. So your not alone getting down to it now, lol. Those boxes are a cute idea, and both bears are lovely. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX
ReplyDeleteHi Annie ... cute Easter boxes. I'm amazed people create such wonderful things from pieces of fabric! Commiserations over the bookwork, it never was my favourite task, but not one I have to do now! Have a lovely week Heather x #28

Oh a wedding dress bear love him too, I wonder if I have enough fabric from mine being taken up (20 years ago!!) I did make a little bag to carry with it at the time though. BJ#4
ReplyDeleteUsed to hate the accounting side of my business, but as it produced VAT refunds (childrens clothes) the reward was well worth it! That wedding dress bear is a great idea. ANi #2

ReplyDeleteHi Annie, I did wonder what you were up to this week! Now I know - accounts! Don't you just hate them. The memory bears are gorgeous - love the one made from the wedding dress ... such a good idea, and one I wish I had. I wouldn't have given my dress away had I knew you then ... you'd have made a lovely keepsake for me I'm sure. Too late :( Hugs, Ellie x #25
