WOYWW....

Hello all.  Here we are at our Wednesday catch up with a lot of creative desks from all round the world.

First I will share my desk for this week...

I've been busy making a new batch of my tooth fairy pillows....here they are in the making......

....and here they are all completed.  They are proving very popular and the new design is a special request....the Hulk!

Then as promised here is what I was working on last week....

I've been making the apple shapes into mug rugs suitable for teacher's gifts.  I'm not sure you can read the poem I wrote to go with it at the top but it's enough said that I had a couple of sleepless nights with poetry buzzing round my head to write it. 😄😄😄

The other show and tell for those interested it what was in the foil box on the shelf last week.  It was found in a box when we emptied a few more and they are all things I made many years ago but are still waiting for mounts and frames! ......

Two embroideries needing circular mounts....yes those really are lots of french knots in the pic on the left to make the paving slabs!

One of the many cross stitch pics I designed of our old house.

A cross stitch pic of one of my fav poems.....from back in 1996!!!

Two little characters I cross stitched that are still waiting framing....they are from the Usborne books stories about Apple Tree farm.

There you go.  Maybe I should get them framed eh?

Thanks for calling by this week. If you leave me a little message to let me know you've called by and I will do my best to pay you a return visit.  I must apologise for those I didn't leave comments on last week. Google+ blogs won't let me comment and several others weren't playing nicely for me.

How fun, you can do about anything ! Liking the Apple idea, cute little poem, worked well when I enlarged the photo. Wish you lived closer, I think I could learn this new machine better with a real person than reading details. Peeked at last weeks post since I was gone, but surely share the foil box surprise. Have a fun week Annie.

Really, Annie, you are a wonder! All those embroidered and cross-stitched pieces - they are beautiful. I love the verse about housework and babies. Someone should have shown me this when my children were little - I would have played more and cleaned less! The apple mug rug and the tooth fairy pillows are brilliant. Have a great week. Hugs to you, and Milly too. Ellie x #21

Oooh, it's so lovely to find a cross stitch blog! I am heavily inspired by the tooth fairy bags. I made similar bags a year or two ago for sick kids to carry their equiptment around with them while in hospital, so I know how to make them. I LOVE HULK! Cannot get over the french knots. Proper madness. I try on a regular basis to do pieces that contain french knots, just to get better at the technique. Sometimes, I get every one perfect, other times it just falls apart in my hands. Must keep practising! All the best and thanks for sharing - EmbroidRage #8 x

Oh blimey, I remember Apple Tree farm so well! They were great favourites with my boys when they were tiny:-D. Those tooth fairy pillows are so clever, you manage to capture the character so well in a simple design (like your peg dollies, they were fab too!)
Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks :-D

I so adore your circular embroideries. How exactly do the tooth fairy pillows work - placed on a bedside table perchance so as not to disturb sleeping child perhaps?? BJ#9

Well you don't really do all your time patience and effort any justice if you don't frame and display them at some point! Love the two round embroidery pics particularly. And yep, you win the most French knots on a single piece challenge!!

Love visiting your page Annie, you have such gorgeous fabrics. I laughed to myself about the samplers, if kept a 100 years they could become valuable. Haha
