So many of you joined in last week and I must say thank you to you all plus I must welcome TwinkleToes2day for joining in for the first time......please join us again.
This week I am featuring Lynn's blog over at One I made earlier today with her gorgeous photos of little Jacob going to the dentist....not something I like much [it feels very much like a white knuckle ride to me]....but he obviously loves going :-) Thanks for sharing them Lynn. :-)
My happy post for today came about because Shell had sorted out some of the twins teeny tiny prem baby clothes for them to use for their dolls. It made us all realise just how small they were back then and Shell had a bit of fun putting these pics together for me to share with you.
Do you remember these pics?.......
Little Sam next to a pack of baby wipes to give scale. :-) Just 5lb 13oz
Little Lexi was even smaller. :-)
Just 4lb
I knew those babygrows would come in useful. :-)
Those were the days eh?....we knew they would be just where we left them :-)
......not so any more. :-)
But they will sit and pose for Nanny Annie to snap a pic to send to Mummy when she is working :-)
....you wouldn't think butter would melt in their mouths would you?
5 mins earlier they were running from one end of the house to the other chasing each other and seeing who could squeal the loudest between their giggles :-)
Thanks for dropping in to share what has been making me smile this week. Please look around you and snap a pic of what is making you happy and share it by linking it below. Lets make the world a happier place to be.
Oh, what gorgeous photos to share again - and how weeny teeny they were, how quick you forget! Thank you for my Friday smile.
ReplyDeleteoh weren't they small, such lovely memories and a great idea to re-use the clothes for their toys. Who can resist a baby?

Funny thing ...I was just looking at a shot of new born B and J ...both well under 4lbs ...and although they are still tiny for their grand old age of nearly 5 ...I too forget how small they were at the start of their life.
ReplyDeleteIt does make me smile to think of L and S's babygrows on your dolls.
I missed this week woyww but I have just had an enjoyable read of your post...love the maps ...you will get my atc after the weekend. xx

Hi Annie, we forget so soon, but haven't they both come on so well :) My daughter was 5lb 5oz when she was born and I had quite forgotten just how small she was until Sam and Lexi became our wee blogging stars. I can still here their chuckles in my head from last weeks video :)) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeletePS: I don't need invited twice to link to your Friday Smiles even though flowers are no competition against the munchkins :)
That just seems to have gone in the blink of an eye! Gorgeous twosome then and now!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by - I have joined in and linked you up at the bottom of my post now too. I'm so behind on my blog reading - that is my mission for the coming week now my PC is sorted :)
They were so tiny! So cute...I love the fact that the baby grows are now on the toys and that they will pose nicely for a photo for you. Thanks for the smile! Caro x

Wonderful pictures! They grow too fast, don't they? Our first grandson will be a year old in August and is walking everywhere. Doesn't seem possible!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how much they've grown! They are so sweet!!
