WOYWW....

Another Wednesday of catching up with our friends and their creative desks...and I love it.

I have only had a few customers this week so it has allowed for more crafty fun...

The latest army of frogs is now completed and will be hopping off to the Harry Johnson Trust soon....I love all their different colours.

I have also been busy making pompoms to be used as Christmas tree decorations...these are sprouts, Christmas puddings and robins and all need decorating to finish them.

I bought some new googly eyes and searched for the little holly leaves I knew I had....of  course I had put them somewhere safe!!  Whilst looking for them I found some more little googly eyes and some little silver bells I'd forgot I had.  Of course the little holly leaves were in the last place I looked :-)

That's all from me for today. I hope Neet continues to improve and Julia and hubby are moving on with their plans with the business.

I will do my best to call by at as many of you as I can.

Hugs,

WOYWW...

Hello all.  I've had another busy week here at Sewing by Annie's but its not been all work :-)  It's my birthday tomorrow so there's been a few early birthday treats too...

Saturday we went to Birmingham to see John Bishop at the NIA....he was brilliant [we laughed until our faces ached].  We then stayed the night in a hotel and had breakfast the next morning before we went back home.

Monday night we went to Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury to see Russell Watson [a birthday treat for my big sister]....he was amazing and a good night was had by all.

I have had a few customers needing sewing and in between I have...

....made the 7 cushion pads and put books in each of the front pockets.

I have also been sewing some of the little frogs.

I had a very sad looking little Ted arrive through my door this week.  He is 76 years old and was falling apart sadly.  I sat chatting to his owner who was a lovely gentleman and had been given Ted for his first Christmas.  We discussed what he wanted me to do.  He needed a new arm and ear making, two new eyes, a good wash and restuffing.  Some of his panels were falling apart and needed replacing too.

Here is Ted after  I'd finished with him....he certainly looks better than he did.  I couldn't match the fur perfectly and even had to dye what I managed to get with coffee.

That's all from me for today.  I hope you will leave me a little message so I know you've called in and I will do my best to pay you a visit ASAP.
Hugs,
Annie x

WOYWW...

Here we are at another Wednesday catch up with creative desks around the world.  These weeks are flying by.

Firstly I wanted to say how sorry I was to hear that our friend Neet was in hospital.  I hope they sort her out soon and she is back at home feeling much better.  Sending her lots of love and hugs.

I don't have a lot to share with you this week but I have finished making...

7 story book cushion covers....all they need now is their cushion pads making and a childrens book putting in the pocket at the front.

I hope these will sell and raise funds for the charity I support.

That's all I have to share for this week so if you leave me a little message I will do my best to pop over to yours to see what you've been up to this week.

Hugs,

WOYWW....

Here we are at another Wednesday catchup with our creative friends all around the world....I love Wednesdays.

I've had a steady flow of customers  this week so my time for sewing fun has been limited but....

I have managed to finish 36 hair scrunchies and with a little help have put their paper tags on them...I think this makes them look more proffesional and they certainly sell well.

I've been working on the army of frogs... I've sewn white felt tummies on all of them and I'm now doing the sewing one frog at a time.
I enjoy being able to pick up a frog or two between my sewing jobs.

That's all I have to share with you today. Please leave me a little message when you call in and, as soon as I can, I will do my best to pop over to yours to see what you've been up to this week.....hope it's been a good one for you.

Hugs,

WOYWW...

Here we are at another Wednesday catch up with our creative friends around the world to see what they have been up to in the previous week....but first I must send lots of love to Julia for the dreadful time she's been having this last week following the fire at her hubby's workshop.  My heart goes out to them both.

I managed to finish the activity quilt I was making by wadding, quilting and backing it....I'm sure you young lady it's made for will love all the bright colours.

I then printed of the latest page of Memory Bears...this brings my number made up to 962

My next job was to get my stock of green fabric out....can you guess what I'm making next?

Did you guess?  Here is my next army of little frogs all cut out to make for the charity I  support.  Now they are cut out I can make them between sewing jobs :-)

That just leaves me to add a little funny....quite an appropriate one because I now need to buy some more small print green fabrics ready for the next army of frogs, when needed...I like to get some in ready :-)

I will do my best to call by on as many as I can so please leave me a little message to let me know you've called by.
Hugs,
