This week's smiles....week 405

Hello all.  I was missing on WOYWW this week.....firstly I was poorly and I had a lot of work to do so thought I should concentrate my efforts where needed most.

We had a weekend away in a cottage near Aberaeron in Wales to celebrate my darling hubby's birthday.  The sun shone and the cottage was perfect...

It was Peggy's first weekend away from home and she really loved the underfloor heating....even if she didn't enjoy travelling in the car [it made her sick sadly].

We came home on Monday but sadly I've been poorly since...a tiresome cough, sore throat and temperature.....and the sewing kept coming through my door....

.......this is my largest order of Memory bears ever....18 in total....and there may be more to come yet.
They are in memory of  an elderly lady who had 9 children and many grandchildren and over 40 great grandchildren.
The 18 are for her children and the oldest of her grandchildren so there may be more wanting one when these are collected!!

The only other things I have to share with you are a few funnies...I hope something here makes you smile.

Please leave me a little comment and link up to your own smiles below.

I hope to be feeling rather better by next week...please send me some good vibes.
Hugs,
Annie x

  2. Great place for a Birthday-celebration! Just sad you came back sick... Get well soon! And ohhhh, that is a wonderful project you´re at.
Thank you for the funnies, too.

  3. Sadly this has been going round and the nurse at our clinic said she thinks we've not yet been able to build up the immunity to these viruses that we once had. I came back with mine after we went skiing. You must try to rest and the customers will have to realise that sometimes they have to wait, it will be worth it. Great collection of funnies, love them. Take care and sending gentle hugs, Angela xXx

  4. Missed you on Wednesday, sorry you have been ill, please look after yourself and learn to say no to customers. I have been really ill for at least 5 weeks now under the hospital as well as doctor.

  5. I am glad you enjoyed your break in Wales. happy Birthday to hubby. It is a shame that peggy didn't travel well as I know you like to go off at weekends when you can.
You have had a lot of bears to make. That is tiring even when you could almost make them in your sleep by now!
Ask the customer to be patient and take time to recover properly.
Thanks for all the smiles. Kate x

  6. I'm sorry you're ill. I hope you feel better soon. I totally agree with the others in saying that the customers should be able to wait a little bit longer because you're not well. They'll understand.
Oh what a shame that Peggy gets car-sick. I know you like to go out on weekends.
I enjoyed the smiles and had a good old giggle at them.
    Have a lovely weekend,
    Lisca

  7. so many bears! It's a grand idea though. They make motion sickness treats for dogs so you can stock up. So sorry you're sick again, many times in the last year, and with you so needing to work too. LeeAnna
