It's been a week filled with smiles this week....
Thursday night we went to Theatre Severn to watch Sam taking part in Elf...it's so lovely to watch him grow in confidence with each performance...he was even dancing in this one :-)
Louie always makes us smile...here he is sat on the work surface in our kitchen staying 'safe' from Peggy puppy who gets very excited to see him and sometimes jumps up too much....who am I kidding? She has to learn manners yet but she will get there.
We woke up to snow on Tuesday morning and Peggy was so funny when she saw her first snow...she did zoomies around the garden trying to catch all the snow she threw up. In the right hand pic she was watching a pigeon up above her on the pergola.....every day there seems to be a new experience for her. :-)
On Friday Shell's school had a Pudsey day to raise money for Children in Need and Shell went dressed as Tom, the school cat. The children loved it.
Saturday afternoon Shell and I went for a couple of hours fun at a painting session...it was my birthday treat from her and we loved it. We had instruction to paint a highland cow [just in case you can't tell what I painted :-) ]. We both enjoyed a mocktail too while we painted....thanks Shell I really enjoyed the session.
Lots to make you smile this week. Loved the funnies too. x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteLoasds of smiles! Your grandchildren are so talented! I smiled at Louie on the worktop. escaping over-enthusiastic puppies. As you say, she has to learn.
ReplyDeleteOh, snow!! I can hardly imagine.
Great photo of Shell as Tom. I assume she is a teacher?
Your painting session looks fun (and the mocktail too). The highland cow looks very good.
I had a good old chuckle at your funnies first thing this morning, nearly spilling my coffee. The white kitten looks very much like my Frankie but I haven't seen her stick her tongue out like that.
Have a restful weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Confidence and dancing is great and Louie.... oh, so cute!
ReplyDeleteWe had snow, too!!! Usually only in February but right now it´s also really cold (33F).
Love the cat-pic! And the fun-cow.
I go with "Henry" (the Lion).
Your funnies sure made me laugh!!!
Have a funny Friday!
Looks like another fun filled week for you all and that includes Peggy. The children are doing so well and gaining in confidence and skill all the time. Loving the cow you painted, well done. Great to see little Peggy enjoying all the new experiences too. The funnies....well what can I say they certainly made me smile! Have a good weekend. Hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteWell done to Sam. he will be a very confident teenager!
ReplyDeleteI understand Louie's retreat to the counter top. An excited puppy can be a bit too much for a small person.
Snow already in Shropshire. That doesn't happen too often.
Peggy sure has a lot to learn but she is enjoying learning about her world. have a smiley week. Kate x
