Here we are at another catch up of my week's smiles...and I'm lucky to say there have been many. My darling hubby's sciatica is now much better although he still has back ache and is trying to keep up with his exercises to help ease this. We didn't manage to go swimming this week because we had arrival of this...
...on our drive. We have swapped our motor home for a caravan and have enjoyed many hours this week setting up our holiday home....exciting times.
Our new caravan has taken up a lot of our time between my sewing jobs so I am just going to share a little of the colour from our garden and then post a few collages of the funnies I've found this week.
I hope you all have lots of smiles to share with us this week and will link them up at the bottom of the page.
Hugs,
Annie x
There's something about the British (not English) language that I don't comprehend. What is the difference in a caravan and a motor home? Here they are all called motor homes, as opposed to mobile home, which is considered to be a more permanent home.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely. I have a few this week, but obviously nothing as beautiful as yours.
Glad to hear your husband is doing better with his sciatica. Glad the swimming helps.
Had a laugh at the two dogs who were petting the cat and the one where the mouse was caught in the trap. I also got a laugh at the dogs naming their babies. That is exactly what my two cats do! Have a super Friday and rest of the weekend, Annie.
Hi Annie, you are going to have so much fun with the new Caravan (yes I am English Hee! Hee! so call it a caravan), the cartoons are brill. I need a few smiles this week but sadly that's life. Have a great weekend, hugs Angela xxx
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you. I can understand your change to a caravan. Those motor homes must be heavy to anoever in small coutry roads etc. I am sure you will have some lovely breaks in your new van.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful as ever, and I love the clematis on your header picture.

Congratulations on your new caravan! It's a beauty. I think you made the right decision. If you are not taking advantage of the freedom of a campervan (being able to sleep anywhere, esp on the continent) and only pay for campsites, then it is much better to have a caravan and that gives you the car to run around in while away. In your case, much better. I don't know how many berths you have, but you might be able to have a grandchild for a sleep-over too if they are staying on the same camp-site.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful!
I had a giggle with the funnies. They are a bit different to the usual ones and that made then extra funny.
I'm glad your husband's sciatica is a bit better.
Enjoy your weekend (are you going away in your caravan?)
Hugs,
Lisca
ooooo the caravan looks like fun
ReplyDelete"it's jim dammit" is so funny!
Happy Travels in your new caravan and hope Scotland may be on your list.
ReplyDeleteJust catching up after getting out of hospital. The caravan looks superb. I wish you both many happy years of traveling with it. We certainly had fun with ours. Miss those days now. Hugs, Ellie xx
ReplyDeleteLove the caravan, Hubby's wants to get back into it, but they are bigger now, and we're not sure there's room on our drive! Have a great time touring! ((Lyn))
