This week's smiles....week 432

Hello all.  Happy Friday to you all.  It's been a busy week here at Sewing.  I've had a steady flow of customers and thankfully it's been a bit cooler to do all the work.

I've had lots to smile about too....Lexi was dancing on stage with her dancing group in the park in Shrewsbury at the weekend....they all did very well....proud Nanny Annie moments.

More proud moments with the news that Stephen has been signed up after his trials to play with Shrewsbury under 10s.....he's one very happy boy.

Theo had more x-rays this week and the Dr was very pleased with how it's healing.  He was given the choice to go without his plaster but needed to be careful....as his mummy said....there is no careful in a 4 year old little boy so it was decided to put it in a soft short plaster for a couple of weeks then hopefully it can come off.....He's rather pleased with his new red plater.

I thought this photo might make you chuckle....it did me.

Poppy's collar had come off so Betsy has picked it up and is trying to put it back on for her....they are such lovely dogs.  :-)

Finally here's a different colour scheme of our garden flowers for you this week.

Isn't it lovely that I have enough flowers to be choosey?

I hope you have all had a lovely week and have lots of smiles to share with us too.  Please leave me a message so I know you've called in and then link up to your own smiles below.

Hugs,

Annie x

  1. Congratulations to Stephen for being signed up for the Shrewsbury Under 10s. He is really doing well with his football/goaling.
And more congratulations for Theo on his progress and new plaster. Not forgetting Lexie and her park performance. You have some great grand children.
Yes, I smiled too, seeing Betsy trying to put the collar on Poppy.
Your flowers are still going strong. Mine have all finished flowering and have dried out. Do I spot a butterfly there?
    Have a lovely weekend,
    Take care,
    Hugs,

  2. Lots to smile about this Friday, Annie. My favourite photo is the two dogs-such caring from one to the other. Happy Weekend in your lovely garden.

  4. Hi Annie, I seem to keep getting distracted recently. This morning no one turned up to help my mum but it's sorted now. Pleased you've had a good week. The dogs are funny, it makes me wonder what goes through their minds sometimes. Beautiful flowers too. I'm off to the Craft Club tomorrow so smiles all round and that includes Des and the dogs as they think they will be able to do what ever they like while I'm out but they had better keep the place tidy or there will be trouble when I get back Lol! Have a lovely weekend, Angela xXx

  5. I think that red plaster is a badge of honor! Kids like band aids!
