WOYWW...

Here we are at another Wednesday catch up with our creative friends around the world...I love my Wednesdays.  I've had a lovely week making Memory Cushion covers in memory of a very special dad using his favourite shirts....each one has a 'hug' using the sleeves.

I had one very happy customer and a lot of interest in having more orders.

Happy days :-)

The other thing I'm sharing with you today is the proof I had 'me time' over the long weekend.  I decided the best way to learn a few of the techniques of how to use my new set of Arteza pens was to cut a sheet of my watercolour paper into ATC sized pieces and have a play.  I am really loving my new painting pens and can see many more happy times ahead using them.

I may choose the best of them to use for the up and coming ATC anniversary swap so please email me at wipso2310@gmail.com if you'd like to swap.

Hugs,

Annie x

  2. I love your cushions what a lovely and very thoughtfull idea! I had the email from Arteza telling of the 'great sale' some time back and nearly but those paint pens in my basket. The Mica power went in in later though! Those ATC's are fab! Happy WOYWW!? Stay Safe ((LYn)) #6

  6. Oh Annie, love the memory cushions. And you have made some fun doodles with those painting pens, something simple to keep close by. Have a great week, wishing you sunshine, it's 37 here this morning. Crazy up and downs #22

  7. So sad about your passion flower - we used to have another one but my husband tried to transplant it as it was in his way near the garage - hence we bought this new one - I hope it will make it. We got a Magnolia tree as well, but it doesn't seem to be doing very well - it has lost half its buds in the winds two days ago and the remaining buds don't look very promising either. I know they're only plants, but I get upset when they die. :( We've got a Wisteria too, but I haven't planted it out yet - just as well - it would have probably got damaged in the storm otherwise as it's still quite small. Happy gardening - spring can't be that far off now! xx

  11. What a great idea those cushions are - good for people who maybe don't want a bear sitting on the chair but would put a cushion on. Your idea?
Now what is happening with all you needlework ladies? You are all crafting with paper as well - maybe we paper crafters need some sewing lessons.
    Hugs, Neet 7 xx

  14. Love the cushion hugs, great watercolours with the Arteza pens. There was quite a good offer on the large pack and I was very tempted, but decided to be sensible and use what I have before ordering new ones. I am in for a swap, I will email you. Angela #23

  15. Love the hug cushions - what a wonderful idea. How nice to have a chance to play with those pens before buying. I have to admit I like big sets when I buy anything like that - what's the point of just a few colours?!! Have a good week, stay safe, stay well, love n hugs Cindy #14

  16. The hug cushions are brilliant, and what a great idea! Very touching and sweet. Your painting pens have certainly done you proud with that beautiful collection of ATCs. I've got a set of Tombow dual brush markers and love them, too.

  17. Well, I think I’m going to email Arteza and tell them that most of us have their products so they can come see how clever you are with them! Loving the designs,, and the fact that you consider the time spent doing them as ‘me time’. It’s good for you and it means that you’re happy to invest time in your friends which is priceless isn’t it. ❤️
