Another week of lockdown and I've had very little work in still so I've had another week of sewing for pleasure....it doesn't pay the bills but it does fill my days happily.
Hugh Dog now has a lovely wool coat and he has become the favourite of many that have seen pics of him....he's a bit of a cool dude don't you think?
Ramsey Sheep is now finished and I've made him a lovely red jumper using the back of a jumper one of the grandchildren has grown out of.
The little jumper went together like a dream and I'm really pleased with the results. What do you think?
Almost as soon as I put him down he found love....Daisy moved over to hold his hand.
Please note at this point I still hadn't made him any trousers so will now have to keep an eye out for the patter of tiny lambs in the future!!
I quickly made Ramsey a pair of cargo pants with functional side pockets to keep his maps in....I think he likes to go walking over the hills.
I hope you like what I've been up to this week. If you leave me a little message I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I can.
Hugs,
Annie x
oh your post has made me smile this morning, which we all need with the news about Shaz's latest fight. Take care and stay safe. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteThose outfits are too, too cute Annie. I reckon we will be seeing a few more lambs before too long even with the cargo pants lol. Doug's coat is fabulous too! Stay safe, Sarah #5
ReplyDeleteI would t mind a jacket like Hugh Dog’s myself. It’s a lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness Ramsey covered himself up, I dread to think how cold his bits were in this weather. To cold for any hanky panky with Daisy that’s one good thing.
Keep going Annie, I’m loving the new additions.

Sorry Annie but I like the weeks when you have little work in because then you make and dress these Lapin friends. Love the new ones and the clothes - yes, Hugh Dawg is super.
ReplyDeleteHugs, neet 6 xx
They are really wonderful Annie - I especially love the sheepy pair. I am wondering if sheep farmer Soph might like them for the girls. xx Jo
ReplyDeleteOh lovely goings on at your place this week. I feel you may need a rather loooong shelf before lockdown eases and brings the customers back to interrupt your fun!
ReplyDeleteWe certainly can’t have Ramsay going commando, the others will be totally shocked! As always, I’m in awe of your attention to detail, they are all amazing!

Oh I do love your little characters! Those cargo pants and that red jumper are awesome and like the dress from last week, something that I would love to wear myself, especially the jumper today as we have no heating! Definitely hugs all around today, Lisa-Jane #10
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, been for the jab and I'm back. The whole thing was such a lovely experience and saw my doctor there who I haven't seen for ages so it all felt very friendly and I've got a badge too Lol! Off to take my mum's stuff to the Care Home now. Loving the new pets they are so cute. Have a happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x
ReplyDeleteMorning Annie. Oh my - I am laughing here at the antics going on in your sewing room! In this weather I am really glad you have given Ramsey some trousers! far too cold to be wandering the hills without them - mind you... wandering the hills with or without them would be good at the moment! We must take exercise from our front door - not use the car and THEN take exercise!! I can only gaze longingly at the mountains.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

I don't believe I have met these cute little characters before! I love how you've named them and they definitely look dapper in their new outfits! Thanks for your visit, Annie! It was lovely to hear from you again! Hope you're well. xx zsuzsa #24
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, glad your keeping your hand in so beautifully during lockdown. I'm taken with the blossoming love story between Ramsey and Daisy and his outfit is just too perfect for a sheep with his outdoor hobbies. The jumper is fab. Hope you are keeping well. Hugs, Ellie x #31
ReplyDeleteLove Hugh Dog's clothes - he looks very dapper and that love story between Ramsey and Daisy made me laugh. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#20)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet sweater for Ramsey, and a great way to recycle! I hope more work comes in for you this week ~ Blessings ~ Karen#28
ReplyDeleteHughdog and his stunning coat are so lovely. My grandmother (a tailor) told me that the apprentices used to make pieces this size by hand from left over as copies for small children. She realised later when she was qualified to work on very expensive cloth that it had been harder to do the tiny pieces than the full size ones! Beautiful stitching, Annie.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see Luna Lapin has some friends now, I saw that book advertised and thought of you immediately. I LOVE Hugh dog jis woolen coat will keep him nice and warm. Stunning work Annie Hugs Tracey #36
ReplyDeleteOhhh Annie I think your sheep are breeding like the cute bunnies you used to make. All sooo sweet. You have an amazing way of creating from fabric. Have a lovely week.

Hi Annie your creatures no their outfits are just wonderful. One day I may come knocking to ask you to make some long skirts, I can seem to find any nice ones anywhere. I did resort to buying a few second hand ones from eBay, but they were shorter than I wanted. My favourite skirt (M and S) is getting so old now, but the design is lovely. Happy WOYWW Angela #12
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time hopping over to your blog. I had to come see with such a good blog name! I love the characters you have stitched up. I laughed when I got to the part of about the possibility of hearing the patter of little lamb hooves! I love Daisy, sorry to have a favorite - they are all so sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou've got quite a family of fun animals now, Annie. I love the names you've chosen for them.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
