This week's smiles....week 372

Hello all.  I normally write my Friday post during Thursday in the day but it's been so hectic this week that I didn't realise it was time to write it until I was on my way to bed so this is going to be a quick post from me for this week.  There has been lots to smile about but I have very few photos as evidence.

For those that didn't see my new look on Wednesday here is my lockdown hair style...yes it's purple and that's the WOYWW mask I made for the 11th year celebrations this week.

The twins have been snorkling in their pool in their garden and this photo made me smile.

And finally these are the treasures from our garden for this week....and that's got to make you smile.

Sorry it's so rushed this week...the matchsticks wont hold my eyes open much longer.

Please leave me a little comment and then link up to your smiles below.
Hugs,
Annie x

  1. Somehow I can agree about the matchsticks keeping me awake. I have to be up early tomorrow because my friend Sally is coming by at 9 a.m., which is my usual time to go to bed. She is bringing me some bread she bought me at the store yesterday (Wed).

Still love the color of your hair. And that mask is awesome, too.

The twins look like they are having fun, but that sort of reminded me of people I've seen on ventilators. Sorry, Annie, that's the kind of mood I seem to be in tonight. At least your beautiful flowers were something to smile about. What a joy. My irises never bloomed this year, so I was happy to see yours. Have a super Friday and weekend, too. Stay safe and enjoy.

  3. It is a joy to see you garden flowering like that! All those colours.
You are pretty colourful today too. Purple hair! Heyho go for it! It suits you. (After all, who is going to see it?)
The mask is amazing. I hadn't realized that WOYWW is 11 this year. I have been part of that for many years, but atone stage they had abut 100 commenters, and I struggle with so many people. Who do I choose to comment on? Plus the fact I have nothing on my desk, do that is that.
I appreciate that you are very busy making masks. In that respect i'm sorry my blog post is so long. I know you have little time. But still, I hope you will be able to enjoy the photos and the cards and have a smile.
    Stay strong,
Love to you and your 'helpers' (2 and 4 legged variety),
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  4. Hi Annie, nice hair style. It looks really short and I can't think how you've managed that. I should have had mine cut twice by now so it's looking rather long but guess I'll just have to put up with it for the time being or maybe for ever who knows. Nice pics of the children and the garden too. Wishing you a happy and safe weekend, Angela xXx

  5. Hey Annie. We seem to be busier now than we were before the lock-down. I like the special mask. It's a long time since I did WOYWW. With my sewing group being that day, and choir in the evening, I never found time to write the post or comment properly on other people's posts. But it was a nice community.
It is nice that the children have had good weather to enjoy the outside while they are off school. They have certainly made the most of it.
beautiful colours in your garden pictures this week. That deep blue looks lovely with the red.
Hope you had a good night's sleep. It sounds as though you needed it. Kate xx
