Didn't we have a lovely time in Llandudno folks? I know I did and we are planning to do it again soon.
I'm sure we all feel we owe Julia a lot for launching this wonderful group. So many wonderful friendships have been bade because of our Wednesday link ups. Sadly Julia wasn't with us in body but her ears must have been burning all day because I know her name was mentioned many times.....we all love you lots Julia.
All I'm sharing today is the things I took with me to share as I haven't manage to craft and create yet since I got back.
I made everyone one of my little felt teddies and wrote a little ditty to go with them....it's my way of spreading a bit of Annie's love.
I decided everyone had seen my Memory bears and thought I would make a special bear to commemorate the day. I put him in the draw and Shaz was the lucky winner.....I have a feeling I may have to make one for every crop now :-)
These are some of the goodies I was kindly given by others who came to the crop....it was like Christmas :-)

Shaz brought lots of yummy fabrics she shared between Jan, Jo and I.....I've stroked it all Shaz and am sure it will all be put to good use in the not too distance future. Thanks so much.
That's all from me for this week. I hope to have more to share next week, hoping I have a little more time to get it ready. It's been a very exciting week for this bear of little brain.
Hugs,
Annie x
That bear was made for Shaz!! I am currently making little christmas decorations from the small picture fabric-I’ll try and post on FB soon to let you see. The crop sounded fab-wish I wasn’t so far away! Happy sewing.
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely day wasn't it and look at all those smiley faces in that photo! Gorgeous fabric - I am sure you will find lots to do with it - once you have stopped stroking it!!! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely day and so good to catch up with you once again! The memory bear was a very kind donation to the raffle, I loved the fabric! Good to see your other half lookingnso fit and well too, it was either the crafting or thought of your camper van that had him so excited, lol!!

What a lovely thought Annie, that you will probably make a bear for each crop. Wonder where the next one will be?
ReplyDeleteBeen talking to that sister of yours quite a bit since we got back - via email of course. Mainly about those brooches that Tilly makes. I love that name Maxine thought up.
Yes, it was a lovely special day, not long enough though, I could do with a weekend of fun and friendship with all the lovely woyww'ers.
Take care (in my head I have renamed you Annie Bear? It suits you so well as you make so many in different shapes and sizes and I love mine with the glasses on)
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
I love seeing all the pics from the crop on various blogs and your blog is no exception... so sweet of you to make all those tiny bears to give away and what a lovely fabric you brought home with you... I would have loved to be there and meet everyone - maybe some day! Have a great week, happy woyww and a big hug from HOlland. Marit #18
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, I agree, a memory bear for each crop would be fabulous! I love mine to bits. Pleased you all loved the fabric, seems shameful to have it stored and never used, so I'm really happy it will get used-(and stroked and loved, lol). So looking forward already to the next crop already! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 X
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, so pleased you all had such a good time. The memory bear is gorgeous and the little ones too. Pleased you enjoyed watching me paint the pebbles. Would love to be able to do it live and get you all painting them, maybe one day. Happy woyww, Angela x13x
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. We are having some totally awesome weather 70's no humidity or winds and lots of sunshine. Love your post. Such beautiful exchanges Your 'Tiny' bear is adorable what a keepsake. I love how your hubby's go and enjoy the fun also. Really great photos, scattered all about this week. Enjoy a fun week.
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, sorry we didn't seem to get to chat much on Saturday, but it was great to see you. I love your mini bear and poem, especially the finishing touch of the glasses. Have a great week. Sarah #5

that could be a rash promise, we will hold you to a memory bear per crop now!! I really must make more of an effort next time, only getting a Friday off to travel up beforehand is tricky. Have a good week. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, it was so lovely to meet you on Saturday. The time just flew by way too quickly and I didn't get chance to have a go at dumfing! I think next time I had better do that first before the coffee, cake and chat takes over! A memory bear at each crop sounds a wonderful idea, they are well loved I can tell! It really was an amazing day meeting people I felt I already knew! Thank you for being part of it. Have a lovely week Heather x #11
ReplyDeleteI am SO sorry to be late yet again. My life is not my own, it seems. I loved seeing the photos from the crop and I know you must have had a good time. Sorry I was late visiting, but so grateful you stopped by my blog yesterday. Happy WOYWW from #3.
ReplyDeleteYour little Bears are a wonderful way of spreading love and sharing friendship, i've loved seeing all the photographs so far. Off to catch some more WOYWWers desks now before the day starts.
ReplyDeleteWish I could have been there to join in the fun.
Happy weekend Tracey #4
Hi Annie. I am REALLY late getting around this week - been so busy hosting Shaz in Oz - but she is now safely tucked up with a friend in America, so I can begin to think... A lovely post - didn't we have fun???
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
