On my desk today is.....
The latest completed pile of bags for Margaret's charity.....they are all different cos even if the outsides are using the same fabric the lining and machine embroidered top stitching is different so that each child has a different bag.
I've also got a pile of the next batch of bags cut out ready to make when I have a gap in my sewing time.
I've got a memory bear coming today and another one Thursday plus from the order I made for the 3 children from the school in Jordon I have another order for two bears from the same school....it's so exciting.
I'm adding this photo just to make you smile. It's little Theo crafting and creating....start them young I say. It looks like there's nearly as much paint on his legs as on the paper but doesn't it look like he's having fun?
Thanks for popping over to say hello today. I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I'm able.
Hugs,
Annie x
Just enjoyed your Friday post of great photos. The kids are really growing tall. I've a few stacks of fabric organized to find space in my fabric hutch !! This sorting is bringing out things I've had packed away a long while, but I've got much to donate in every area of "stuff" so as it don't look like I am accomplishing much a weekly load goes away. Bugs, heat, allergies are outdoors so will get some fun things done later today. Have a good week Happy Woyww
ReplyDeleteLovely to see an artist at work! xx Jo

ReplyDeleteThe bags for the children's charity are so pretty, and such a nobel cause on your part. The photo of Theo is precious, and brings back fond memories of my girls working on art projects in my art studio years ago. Happy WOYWW and Blessings!

ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Theo - it's so good to let kids get painty and mucky while playing - he looks like he's having a lovely time. You've done a great job making all those bags and I love how each one is different for individuality.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,

Little Theo is having a wonderful time - i just love the look of concentration on his face. The bags look wonderful as well. I am a bit late to the party tonight - thanks for sharing. Caro x (#42)
ReplyDeleteOh the joy of letting the kids wander around in just a nappy, or nothing! Happy days! Looks as if Theo has totally the right idea...use all the space! My how he’s grown. Your collection of bags is admirable Annie, the idea of changing the topstitching is very clever. I suspect the bears that go to Jordan might create you quite a trail to be honest!
ReplyDeleteLove all the fabric. And bless him, Theo is having a great time there. Thanks for sharing - Hazel WOYWW #8 x

Hi Annie, as usual you're busy! All those bags and I think I recognise some of that fabric waiting to be made up :) What fun for Theo - permission to get messy - I think I see a tree! It's been a very busy few days so I'm late but have a wonderful week. Hugs, Ellie x #32
