WOYWW

Hello all.  It's been one of 'those' weeks here at Sewing by Annie.  Life likes to throw us challenges and this week we seem to have had more than our share so I've been head down sewing as therapy as and when I could so that's what's on my desk today but I have more memory bears on their way today and tomorrow and other work coming tomorrow too so that should all keep me busy.

On my desk today is.....

A rainbow of fabrics to use as linings in the next batch of 12 bags I'm making for Margaret's charity.

And over on my sewing table is....

....the said bags in the making.  I've now made all the straps [over on the right of the pic] and left of my machine is the 12 bags with their linings now waiting to make the bags up.
It's really good therapy to keep busy using my skills to help others so I will be keeping busy in my quieter times....it's not like I don't have the fabric is it?

That's all from me for today.  I hope life is being kind to you all and you have enjoyed a few sunnier days.
Hugs,
Annie x

  4. I've just sent off a parcel of bags too! You're right about it being therapy, when something is straightforward and you don't have to think about the process too much, then your brain just ticks over in neutral. Just like meditation really and far more productive and useful!!
Hope the challenges haven't been too terrible but you're right, they're like buses.........

  5. So glad your therapy is working! Life is a pain at times but a lovely lady on the radio today said our "wounds" let in more love so we can cope with it. Well let's hope she's right then! xxx

  6. Love the sunny header and hope you are enjoying the slightly better weather. I have made 10 wee bags this week as you’ll see in the usual place. Now about to try a reversible bag from two shirts-must have pockets on each side-no pressure!

  14. Hi Annie, smashing project on the go. I know Margaret will appreciate them. Short comments this week I'm afraid, should have brought my 10" tablet with its proper keyboard, this small one keeps autocorrecting and everything takes so much longer! Have a great week, hugs, Shaz xxx

  15. Great header photo! Are those a type of poppy? I am really flower ignorant! I find it interesting how most all of us use our crafting as a therapy of shorts. It is for sure it keeps me motivated! Hope your week gets better! Vickie #30
