WOYWW.....

Hello and Happy Wednesday to one and all.  I love my Wednesdays.  If you don't know what WOYWW is all about [where have you been?] then pop over to Julia's at The Stamping Ground and check out the details and why not join in the fun?

My desk today is like this...

I've been sorting out my fabrics and enjoying them....have already had to mix and match them cos a customer is wanting a comforter quilt made with some of them.  On the front of the desk is some gorgeous Alpaca wool that I've decided to crochet a scarf for me from...it's so lovely and soft.
Apart from that there's the normal clutter for a sewing room....feel free to zoom in and have a good snoop.

This is the selection of fabrics I will me playing with today to make a 9 square comforter quilt with....ooer what fun.

On the desk the other side of the room is my box full of my machine embroidery threads....I've had them out to make my ATCs with and have now finished a nice little pile of them so if anyone wants to share with me just email me to wipso2310@gmail.com with your contact details.....I will add you to my list.

That's all from me for today so please leave me a little message so I know you've called by and I will do my best to pay you a return visit when I get a minute.
Hugs,
Annie x

  10. Ooo! Annie, I'm now suffering serious thread envy! What a lovely box of goodies. Those are lovely fabrics you've pulled out to make the quilt with - very pretty combination of colours too. The yarn is lovely too. Hope your laptop is working like a dream now - they do get slower as they get older but then don't we all. :) Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #25

  11. WOW nice colorful desk! I always used to love my Mother and Grandmothers fabric, thread, and button boxes. My mother was picky about me not playing with hers but Grandma said it was okay to arrange them as much as I liked...I spent hours entranced by them...guess some OCD lives in me cause I am still playing and arranging in my room! I am already starting to make my ATC to swap this year. Hope you got last years by now. USPS is terrible. Have a great week! Vickie #8

  13. I think you have more threads and fabric than the John Lewis Haberdashery in Cardiff today! I'd like to swap ATCs with you but had better get a shift on and think of an idea! Late, moi??! *grin*. Those fabrics are lovely and I'm sure the person will love their comforter quilt so much.

  16. Gotta love a tray full of jewel bright coloured threads. I like the yellows for the comforter, bet you’ll enjoy putting that lot together almost as much as getting all the fabric out for a match session....makes one smug about one’s hobby!

  18. Is that a cutlery drawer you are using for your threads? What a great idea. That wool does look so lovely and soft.

Sorry I'm late - hope you are having a good week.
