This week's smiles.....week 255

Phew! what a week it's been here at Sewing by Annie's  I have never know a January soooooo busy before with customers......I'm buzzing.  I've made 4 Memory bears and still have two more to make yet plus have several other challenging jobs to do too........so I have lots to smile about as you can imagine.

I have a couple of pics to share plus a couple of funnies that just made me chuckle.

My hubby and our son Mark are Shrewsbury Town football supporters and as their footy team are doing rather well this season Mark has treated Theo to his first football kit which, as you can see he is rather happy to be wearing......doesn't he just melt your heart?

Here he is sat on his daddy's knee, both wearing their footy shirts ....and they both melt my heart.....but of course I'm biased.  :-)

This funny popped up on my Pinterest page and it made me chuckle....it's my new motto  :-)

And as I'm short and fat this one also applies to me.  :-) :-)

Hope I've made you smile today.  Please leave me a little comment so I know you've called by and if you can then please link to your own smiles below.  Have a great week filled with smiles my friends.
Hugs,
Annie x

  1. Since I'm 4' 11" tall, I always tell people "NO short jokes." But I like that one.

Theo and Mark look really good in their football outfits. I still laugh at your idea of football!

Congrats on being so busy this week. It means your business has really taken off nicely. Have a super Friday and a great weekend, dear Annie.

I may not be able to play next Friday UNLESS someone can link me. I have to accompany my friend Sally to the hospital at 5:00 am my time, which means I must get some sleep and can't stay up to link to the party. However, I will schedule a post if someone will link Bleubeard and me next Friday.

  2. Oh you certainly made me smile first thing in the morning. I wasn't smiling because I have to have a large cake in the oven by 10 am for a little boy's birthday party at 12.
But looking at little Theo in his football shirt made me smile.
And the Minions too actually. So funny.
Now my day can begin. I've made a pot of tea.
Have a good day and a great weekend,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  3. Hi Annie, plenty to smile about this week and little Theo looks great in his little suit. Loving the funnies too but can't stop long as this is our last day and then I need to start the packing. It has been an interesting two weeks with masses of snow but when we could ski it was amazing. Have a lovely weekend. Big hugs from a very white French Alps, Angela xXx

  5. A lovely photo of Theo and his daddy. We have several family photos along those lines, but ours all show the boys in Arsenal strips.
Minions are odd little things aren't they, but often have quite amusing captions with them. Your two made me smile, as I can definitely relate to both of them. Kate xx
