Firstly of course it's my 'Didn't we have a lovely day, the day we went to Bangor'.....well, it was actually Llandudno and it was for the weekend and lovely was an understatement. It was a really special weekend spent with just the best of people.....what a lovely group we belong to.
Friday night Margaret very kindly invited us with a few others for dinner.....and very yummy it was too.....Thank you Margaret for making us feel so very welcome.
Here are all the lovely girls at the crop on Saturday..
Back row, [L-R] .... Jan, Eva, Elizabeth, Me, Sarah, Neet, Julia
Front row, [L-R] .... Dolores, Christine, Margaret, Chris, Anne
It was sooooo lovely to meet people I feel I have known for years and to hear the dialects from all round the UK and beyond.
I took my dumfing machine and those that wanted to had a little go on it...what lovely results they achieved too.....I have a feeling Dolores may have already bought herself a dumfer. :-)
That much older sister of mine, Jo and Maxine her daughter didn't come to the crop but they did send one of Maxine's little pictures to go in the raffle and Dolores was the lucky winner....here she is holding it up so I can share a pic with Jo and Max.
What a lovely weekend eh? I will be back :-)
Now, as I'm here to share my desk, I'd better put a pic here of it in all it's glory....I've stood back and taken a couple of long shots today so you can all have a good snoop and even stay for a little play if you want to.....
I
really love my sewing room....it's such a lovely light room to work in
and on sunny days I open the door at the end to enjoy the garden too. As
you can see I have a little friend who likes to keep me company and as
she had her hair cut yesterday she's looking rather pleased with
herself.
I hope you have enjoyed my show and tell today. Please leave me a little comment and I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I can.
Hugs,
Annie x
I have sure enjoyed all the Crop photos. Looks like everyone had a great time. And loving your sunshiny sewing area. Oh to see the sun again would be so great. Talking more rain for the weekend. But have plenty of indoor projects. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteMorning Annie. It was great, wasn't it? A huge amount of fun. Folk really appreciated the fact that you brought your dumfer along. The results were so great. It was good to really meet you at last. Lovely to meet hubby too.
ReplyDeleteYour sewing room is amazing - so much space, and all thought out brilliantly. Well done.
Take care. God bless.

Oh such fab photos of the crop - happy days! Thanks for sharing.xx Jo
ReplyDeleteI would like a dumber too, just because it's something else I could think about doing! Loved my turn at the machine. Loved the whole weekend. Your room looks gorgeous, I do like the long shot, how the light fills it, is lovely. There's lovely! Hope you've been able to ease yourself back into the week...must say I felt very reluctant on Monday morning!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the day from your perspective! I really did enjoy myself on the dumfing machine, great fun! It was a good weekend, I loved our B&B and will definitely go back, if they'll let us in! We bowled back down south on the Sunday, had a really good run and stopped at Aberaeron to stretch our legs.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your craft room in all its glory, I don't think I'd move out of there! Milly is looking very fetching too xx

Hi Annie, pleased to hear you all had a great time. I am enjoying looking at all the photos though I would have loved to have been there. Very jealous of your work space, it's gorgeous. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteIt was a great day wasn't it Annie. I didn't manage to get a group shot so it was great to see yours. I'm not surprised that beautiful picture was chosen first in the 'not a raffle'. Happy WOYWW Sarah #20
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, it was just lovely meeting you at last too - too sad that the day was over in a flash and we had to leave. Hope we get to meet up again some day soon. I think I've caught the dumfing bug too though where I'd put another machine in this room I really don't know. Lovely photos of everyone. I've had a rummage through your room and patted your newly trimmed little friend. (Won't be too long now before I have my very own little crafting friend too - yeah!) Hope you are having a lovely day (pouring with rain here). Hugs, Ellie x #22

I love the airy light feeling of your room. It must be joyful to create in such a space. Isn't that feeling 'This is all my space" a wonderful sense of achievement and pleasure. Somewhere to hide and shine, laugh and create. What better.

Hi Lovely Lady - yes, it was a good "do" on Saturday - too short - need a weekend next time. Please can I be first on the dumfing at the next one?
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you again and so nice to see Millie featured on your blogpost today. She looks every bit the little pal she is for you.
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me - Neet 9 xx
Your work space is glorious and love the little spot you have for Milly. Looking very smart showing off her hair cut.
