.....I really couldn't say cos there is a bed on it's side in the way. Yes, it's more mayhem here this week because yesterday we had to clear out the new bedroom, the new kitchen, two halls and the new bathroom to have new flooring laid.
I'm sure one day we will have a lovely home but for now we will just wallow in the mess and clutter :-)
I haven't had a decent night's sleep for days because I have been playing nurse maid to my darling hubby who has had tonsillitis and his throat has been so sore he couldn't even swallow his own spit [not that I've been doing that for him lol]. I have almost had to sit on him to get him to rest but I'm hoping the worse is over now and he doesn't pass it on to me or the rest of the family.
So that's really all I can show you this week. Hopefully I can share more exciting photos in the new year. I really hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy and very healthy 2016.
Hugs,
Annie x
Oh dear Annie, new flooring just before Christmas, not a good time to be moving furniture, but people have to work right up to Christmas eve to pay for the expensive event.
ReplyDeleteHope you get it sorted before Friday.
Bless you

Well, even if it doesn't all get done, what the heck. Getting Doddy back to good health is more important, eh? Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas...thanks for all the fun and friendship this year!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 11 xx
Wishing you a merry christmas and a safe and happy 2016. Hopefully 2016 will have lots of pics of your beautifully renovated house and you sitting on the bed with a glass of champers.

I'm sure things will get better, Annie. They always say it has to look worse before it looks better, but I don't envy you the upheaval before Xmas and poor hubby too. Hopefully, he'll be feeling better so that he can enjoy his Christmas lunch.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Happy Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Crafty 2016.

Sending Merry Christmas Wishes just for you and yours!

Thanks for the visit to mine Annie. Just got back from M&S been picking up our order. The town is very busy so pleased I have finished my shopping just need to finish the tidying up. The thing about all that work that's going on at yours is that you have a good excuse for any mess on the other hand I do not Lol! Hope your other half is better soon, men don't make good patients but then neither do any of us Lol!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Christmas and a very Happy Crafty New Year, Angela x 21
Thanks for visiting me while I slept. Not sure where you got that sign, but it says it better than I could.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about your husband. Besides overseeing the remodel, watching grandees, and decorating your home, you played nursemaid, too. You are a superwoman.
I love the Friday Smiles tree. I showed all of mine a few days before Julia did. Guess I should have shown them for Friday Smiles.
I hope your Christmas is wonderful, and you share the warmth with family and loved ones (the four legged kind, too) content in the knowledge all are safe.
Happy WOYWW from #2.
Hope DH will be better soon. My brother has the same :-( Happy Christmas to you and yours Annie x Anne x #27

ReplyDeleteaww sorry you have not been able to sleep - hope hubby feels better soon. I have had a sore throat for two days - hurts to swallow and worse at night but so far thats all- hopefully i won't turn into anything. Hope you and your family manage to have a lovely Christmas xxx soojay
ReplyDeleteGuess you won't be having guests any time soon - unless they want to bunk up in the kitchen!! You will get there. Hope Doddy is well soon.x
ReplyDeleteHmm! If hubby was feeling better just think of the dancing space! Seriously, I hope you can get someone to help you to get things straight soon and that he makes a speedy recovery! Happy Christmas to you both!Chrisx 31 Thanks for your earlier visit.x
ReplyDeleteAw..this is a sweet message! Thanks. NEARLY done with the reno's . Yours will be finished, and ours not begun yet.AAAh,EEk, Ugh!!
ReplyDeleteA great picture, Annie, reminding me of the chaos when we were mid new extension-building at Christmas. The builders even brought the freezer into the dining room for us on Christmas eve as they left, so we could get at our food!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. John is being let out tomorrow for good behaviour - but is bringing care packages, and Oxygen with him. We know that unless God intervenes he will not get any better, only worse. But his choice is to be at home - one I wholeheartedly endorse.
Have a very special Christmas. Take care. God bless.

Hi Annie,
ReplyDeleteFirstly, I love the little holiday wishes at the end of your post. So cute!
I hope your hubby gets better and that noone else gets sickly. Last year I was sick Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Hopefully this year won't be a repeat!
Have a wonderful Christmas and a crafty 2016!!
Hugs,
Kay
Hi Annie, there I have been prattling on about what's going on in my life and didn't once ask how things have been for you and yours :( I hope Doddy is fully recovered very soon, and that he is able to enjoy the festivities. I think it would be a blessing if I couldn't get to my desk at this time - it's such a mess!!! Merry Christmas - I hope you have a wonderful holiday. Hugs, Elizabeth x #40
ReplyDeleteOh Annie...you have been through so much, I hope you see the light at the end of the tunnel..and nothing worse than a sick man....honey and ginger are 2 things that help with sore throats. I surprised myself with being ahead of the game with prep work for the next 3 days for all my company coming. Good feeling and the weather is to be nice for travel. Thanks for the visit. May you and yours have a wonderful Christmas
ReplyDeleteHope your hubby feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh Annie, the timing! If its not one thing..I sure hope the flooring is finished now, as I'm so late! Also hope that Doddy is recovering and can at least muster a bit of a ho ho ho!love to you for CHristmas.
ReplyDeleteI do hope Doddy got well enough to enjoy Christmas Day - I am sure with your careful nursing he is well now.
ReplyDeleteLike the White Rabbit in Alice I am "Late" - only just getting around to commenting and it is almost time for another week to begin. Sorry, but Christmas got in the way.
I love how you are still smiling with all that is happening in your home, just think how it will be worth it all soon.
All the best for 2016
Hugs, Neet xx
