WOYWW.....300!!!!!

Wow where has that time gone?  Here we are celebrating the 300th week of Wednesday madness.  Huge thanks to our wonderful organiser, Julia, for keeping us going so long and here's to many more happy weeks of linking up with friends all around the world.

You saw my desk at it's worse last week with mess, stash, dust and clutter everywhere.  I will say that I not only found the beads, trims and sequins that I was looking for but I managed to finish the Wedding dress and the little bride wore it with pride on Saturday and looked simply amazing.  :-)  Job well done!

This week I am sharing this....



My desk in all it's glory :-)

I gave it all a good sort out, clean and tidy up on Monday and, as it was Hubby's birthday yesterday and we will be looking after the twins all day today, my desk will be looking like this until tomorrow at least :-)

The other quick pic I'm sharing this week is my guilty pleasure.....Saturday, that much older sister of mine [Jo] and, I had a rare treat of some quality time together and went to our local fabric shop.....who wouldn't given the chance?

This was my 'I saw it and just had to have it' purchase while we were there. Did I need it?...nope.  Do I know what I'm going to do with it?...nope.  As they say watch this space......but of course it may well have to be stroked for a while first.  :-)

    Oh, I've never bought fabric that I didn't have a use for either....cough....!!!! As if...love that choice of fat Q's, I'd have picked those too :-) Hope Jo is ok, I'm glad you two managed a day out..I bet you're full of mischief, the pair of you :-)

    Love those drawers! Nice organizing! And so much fun to spend time with your sister. Love the fabric, too. Years ago when I did a lot of sewing the fabric would "tell" me what it wanted to be. Yep, weird but that's what seemed to happen. Hope you have a great time with the twins! Happy WOYWW!

    Oh I can so identify with the stroking bit! lol!Lovely fabric. I have now discovered there is a fabric shop (small) in our little town, so I will be doing a trip there when I come back from Italy.

    Ha ha as you may know I work in a haberdashery and fabric store..... A dangerous job for a crafter like me.... Anyway I often say to customers ... " see it, like it, buy it, stroke it" and they always agree...... Sounds just like you...... It's gorgeous so enjoy it too

    Wonderfully neat desk, Annie - and some gorgeous got-to-have fabric. Glad you had such a great day. Yes, thanks, I'm hoping John will indeed be up to the show - but if he isn't Mrs D and I will still go - we will just have to park in the ordinary parking instead of the disabled area... oh well...
