Hello all. We are getting closer to the big day and I'm still busy busy busy making for the special little people in my life in what spare time I've got. I spent my two sewing days this week making dolls clothes to go with the knitted cardigans and hats you've already seen in previous posts so that's what I'm sharing with you today.....
I've made 2 pair of trousers, 2 pair of shorts and 4 shirts.
Here are two little dresses with puffed sleeves and pants to go with them.
Here are 5 little strappy sun dresses.
And here's 2 little cheery red dresses with matching pants.
I plan to share the clothes out between the little ones and am certain they will have lots of fun dressing their dollies with them....almost as much fun as I had making them all. :-)
So folks that's it from me. I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I've been up to this week. Please leave me a quick message and I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I can [that is if blogger is playing nicely this week....it seems to want to stop me leaving some of you a message for some reason but it's not for the want of trying].
Hugs,
Annie x

Awww..the dolly clothes are so cute. I used to make barbie clothes obsessively when I was around age 12. My first sewing projects. Now I do paper arts instead :P Happy WOYWW! #25
ReplyDeleteWhat happy little children they will be. I would have loved those outfits when I was a child. I can remember making a similar puffed sleeve dress and matching bloomers for my baby girl to wear to a family wedding. So cute.

Hi Annie,
ReplyDeleteWhat cute and fun outfits! You've been a very busy lady!!! I hope more of your customers are finding their way to your new home (although it looks like you've kept yourself quite busy).
Blogger has been acting up with me too. So frustrating. I haven't been able to see those that I follow for a couple of weeks now! And don't get me started on how hard it was to get today's post out!
happy WOYWW

Oh the outfits are so delightful. Well done Annie your little ones are so lucky to have you as the grandma/nannie/ gran ? :-) Anne x #9
ReplyDeleteoh wow, they are all so cute! Mum used to knit stuff for our dolls, but don't remember such attention to detail, and certainly not hand sewn things. Your munchkins are very lucky. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely dresses! I'm so glad somebody is still making doll's clothes. My grandmother always used to make clothes for our dolls and quite often to match my clothes because she would make all of my clothes.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week,

Those little outfits are just soooooo cute! You've taken me back to my childhood when my grandma used to make dolls clothes for me - it seemed that's what grandma's did back then, but it's a dying art these days. You've done a fabulous job and I'm sure they'll be enjoyed and loved greatly! have a great Christmas,
